Ive posted this on the CSM reply thread and feel its important to note.
First:
Ever since ive joined, from every patch, every expansion thats released there has been negative feedback. If that thing were changed, it would be praised, then after release, mroe negative feedback
Hybrids were not broken, they were jsut made obsolete byt he buffing of projectiles, which was a result of negative feedback on projectiles ont he forums(and minmatar ships in general). Thats an example based on the single biggest complaint ive read.
Second:
How many people, out of the thousands of subscribers respond to these threads? And how much of the responses are negative? And how much of the negative response are "CCP needs ot get their head out their asses" Without actually stating why the person thinsk they have their head in thier ass in the first place? I know this is a whine old as time but its neccessary for my point.
Look at how many peopel are logged in daily. The numebr of thread replies is very tiny compared to the actual number of peopel who play the game in total.

It seems very likely people only reply to the threads when they have a grievance, or when they want to praise CCP for resolving their grievances.
Even the people protesting in game was extremely tiny in number compared to the entire player base. To be hoenst, i never even knew it was going on, there are many others who didnt know, and several who knew but didnt care. But CCP did notice, and from what i saw also cared, which is very cool. (Acknowledging your woes and trying to think of a way to do soemthign about it [which takes time and effort])
The Survey:
Should not be restricted to the forums because most people dont reply on the forums, they just read. I know this because i dont know anyone in game personally who replies to these threads. I have been able to reply sicne 2006, but have never felt the need to until now, because i finally have a noteable opinion i think.
Surveys could be taken in game. Perhaps one per computer or seomthing, or even done randomly.
