MASS has been around since the beginning, and tragically, many of the most prominant figures in eve can at some point came to have been members. More tragically, most of them can claim to have shared a TS channel with us. Back in the day, MASS fancied itself a corp of the elite. MASS looked for minimum SP levels, and established PvP credentials. Problem is, a lot of those guys still think like they did "back in the Day". We don't want "them," for the guys who "know it all". We're looking for guys who want to improve, and aren't willing to settle with their current level of skill. We want the guys who want to get to the top of the mountain, and go looking for another mountain with a higher peak. Now, we're looking to the future. With luck, if your reading this, that includes you. We are looking for players looking to learn PvP, or who do pvp and want a group of active players to integrate into. We arent interested in "amazing FC's" and "Insta pop tempests", we are looking for people who will log in, get in gangs, get on TS, and be members of the team, not show boats. We will be doing a "rebuilding and training phase". This may remain corp policy, or this may evolve, time will tell. Heres what we are looking for: 1.) Motivated folks who WANT to pvp, and are willing to learn. We aren't discriminating on SP, because everybody starts somewhere. We want to have you get you "get there", and we want to keep you. 2.) We need you to have a mic, because real time commo is essential to effective pvp. 3.) We need you to be a learner, and we want you to be willing to think for yourself and innovate. There was a time when "hotdropping" was called "too risky". Then Outbreak shoved that notion into every-bodies face with their Nyx. Just because it hasnt been tried doesn't mean its a bad idea, and we want the minds that have those ideas. 4.) We don't want show boats, self-centered know-it-alls, or people who cant see when they are wrong or need to improve. Being an ass is my job and I guard it jealously. This is a golden opportunity for people who want to learn pvp to do so. The guys you'll be learning from have been around since "the old days" and some of them are still menaces.
