today while hunting in 0.0 space i had the most fun i have ever had...i i fired on some npc rats and to my surprise found they were taking NO...and i repeat NO damage. i shot about 60 torps at some cruiser rats and saw NO damage on the targets. i was taking damage and my shield tanking was holding when i discovered the rats had warp scrambled me. it was at this point i started to run low on cap and realised i was in trouble. i was very lucky i had some friends in system with me..i called them over and they started firing on the rats..the rats started dying so i start firing again...still NO damage by my weapons. this is the only time this has happened to me but it needs to be addressed quickly pls.

i guess no one else has had this problem?...any ideas what might have caused it so i dont do that some more

I've had some frigates that took no damage from my torps... never happened with cruisers though.

I had a Merc Wingman take 2 torps and 0 damage earlier. As I was scrambled up to high heaven by him and his 3 other wingmen buddies it was a little panicky ;)
Drones saved the day... although the torps worked on the other 3 wingmen... just that one obviously had 'Torpedo Hardner V' mounted.

well torps the do good damage but they an't fast alot of frigs and some cruisers in 0.0 can out run torps. You can send 1000 out and nothing. Cruise missle on the other hand will get the job donw

what im saying is....the torps were hitting the targets and exploding...you could "look at" and see it happen. however, the targets were still taking no damage. tried 4 different targets at the same belt and nothing.

I have had this problem too- i do lvl3 agent missions in a Harpy and came up against 2x 30k scrambling frigates. Neither of them took any damage from my Harpy and although this wasnt much a problem, the 3 Caracals and 2 BBs coming behind them were... luckily they ddnt scramble me (for some reason) so i got away... scared the cr*p outa me tho...

I've noticed several times where my smartbombs just don't seem to damage some enemies.
they are all clearly in range (at about 1-1.5k and AOE is 3k), and sometimes 1 will take dmg and no others will, usually happens on the infested drones, but it also happens on some other rats.
