Thanks to everyone who has been very patient with me during this war, as some doubles have been delayed.
There was a short period we were getting close to even, but with some fresh and hungry blood joining our side every day, the scales are tipping ever further in our favor! Not even counting the 2nd war against our enemies, we are up about 3 to 1 in isk and over a 7:1 ship ratio.
I am so glad so many people have found me 1st before losing all their isk to those criminal scammers in Eve! I hope everyone is putting their doubled, tripled etc isk to good uses!

I had the misfortune of conversing with a member of EntroPraetorian Aegis in Amarr Local earlier today.
All i can say is he was an unsavoury individual exuding anger management issues and had a mouth so foul it would put most inebriated emo teenage delinquents to shame.
Good to see the war worked out in your corps favour as based on the conduct I witnessed earlier I can only assume that most of the eggs in the basket will certainly be rotten in that alliance.
Nice to see that business is now back to usual however.
Just wish I had not already invested 3 times so I could play your game again 
With Christmas now looming on the horizon hopefully you might consider a seasonal offer for those that have played before ?

First and foremost it should be blatantly obvious that this is a scam, and somewhat better than others that I've seen but still very easy to spot. I am only posting this for newer and slower players as many vets will find this laughable (Stupid players are not veteran players) The reason this scam is somewhat clever is because Erotica 1 (just like a casino) knows that people wont continue to play unless there is somewhat of a payout. She claims that she makes money off of idiots who don't follow the rules (good cover), but the only idiots are those who get greedy and play too much money (also very similar to casino). I find that lower amounts tend to pay out. This is because it reassures the player that the scam is actually a real game and tempts them to play further with larger amounts of money. Erotica 1 has paid out multiple times for lower amounts such as 50m-400m. (notice she plans on getting rid of the 50m minimum because its too low, and she doesn't make enough from it) The first and second games can pay you out to almost 1 billion ISK, and to a semi new player who has 1 bil ISK total, that is a VERY large amount. So making that much tempts them to play a third time. Then that third gamble goes straight to her pockets. Another clue to this scam losing popularity is that she has added the hope of a 4th investment. This is because people got smart and realized she only pays out for the first two investments, so they would only play two games. By adding the 4th investment the game has added a very sketchy "safety net" to making a 3rd investment. Honestly people the most solid reason you should see this as a scam is that right off the bat it seems WAY too good to be true. When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. With the high learning curve that eve has, it already scares off idiots. After that you have new players who don't really have enough to play (even a new player can spot this, like i said most idiots don't play eve). And the only thing left which could possibly explain peoples inability to spot this (which i will also include myself in) Is that they are blinded be greed. Even a smart player will make a bad decision when they get a sniff of riches. So don't let yourself be fooled. Anyone who just gives away money wouldn't have money for long. She says she makes money off of idiots who don't follow rules. That is partly true, she does make money off idiots. But the idiots are the people who play. :) I myself have played with many characters. I have made money. Like I said she doesn't just stiff arm the whole player base or people would stop playing. So whether real players or her alts are the one replying that, "shes legit" is really irrelevant. The lottery is real, but barely anyone ever wins. |

Well its a good lesson for people if anything good can be pulled from it. And while I dont suggest risking your money I did make a good bit from her just testing out the lie. Im surprised someone hasn't come up with a better system because honestly she cheats you and then makes up the worst excuse. A real con wouldnt be discovered so easy. But then a real con doesnt waste time with fake money either. |

Ok so you guys need to take a moment and read how 80% of the people saying that she paid them back responded back.
There is many, points that you can see she uses many alts to reply to, well herself. I have worked for the Us Government for 21 years as a Hand Writing Specialist. I have also spent 4 years profiling those that commit fraud using the usmail mail service.
I found 14 key indicators in how the people "reply to her" If you take the time to look, and truly read how those posts are worded, and how the punctuation is assembled it becomes obvious that she spent little time trying to hide it from all of you. Being that she is not stupid and GREED will, and does take hold of people she has amassed most likely over 100 billion isk.
Choose to play, and win thats great, but your chance of losing is very high. I suggest that 2/3 of the posts are her alts and are fake. As always I wish you all the best, and fly safe!

ummm, the skill you described is that of a Forensic Linguist, not hand wwriting analysis. Forensic Linguists study patterns of wording, tense, use of contractions, punctuation and other quantifiable variables using either hand written or typed samples to determine if multiple documents had the same author and make no attempt to determine the truth of the statements in the sample documents. A couple of the earliest and public uses of Forensic Linguists were in the Uni-Bomber case and the JonBenet Ramsey case. Handwriting analysts concentrates on the style of penmenship to interpret personality traits and intentionality. Forensic Linguists are few in numbers, the specialty emerged just a few years ago, first with a few universities offering it as a Master's degree, then it became available as Ph.D. and has been widely accepted as a legitimate science by nearly every court system in the United States, but I am not sure if it has been used in a case before the SupremCourt. Handwriting analysis is much more subjective and is rarely trained in the established academic world and has had spotty legal acceptance due to the vastly different forms of training and squishy accreditation standards for courses that range from a weekend seminar to an elective at small colleges which usually have no nationally recognized accreditation.
I am not disputng your post or doubting your claims, I am merely elaborating on what I believe was your attempt to honor the virtue of brevity.
My belief is that anyone who wants to give away isk, will give away isk. The players who create silly rules and/or require an advance payment in order to receive a gift of a larger return are scammers. Some will "rent" endorsements by actually honoring small amounts while waiting for the larger amounts to arrive after their rented endorsements and the the endorsements of their alts have encouraged the greedy to venture what the scammer will deem profitable amounts. If the scammer "absorbs" the small amounts, the screams of scam will begin sooner and will have nothing except the scammer's alts to counter them, thus taking the scammer's time away from the main effort of reeling in the big fish. Rental endorsements are a much easier alternative for a scammer working alone, as the rented endorsements will often come from a player with more game history than a scammer's alt and probably some name recogniton in the the targetted system.
With the number of players who fall prey to these blatantly bogus offers, I can understand why my personal email accounts get filled with so many weak scam attempts. Certainly, if players fall for the crap scams in here, they must be making scammers in the real world rich, too. |
