Yes the time has come to say goodbye for the last time to everyone in Eve.
I have been playing almost non-stop since beta. I have played every single role there is to play in eve and ejoyed it all.
I am very glad I saved the role of Pirate as last. It was the most fun I ever had.
I would like to thank some ppl here for the good times.
m0o: You served up my first podding back a month after release. Made me learn the importance of using all resources necesarry to stay alive. And the importance of learning to make pvp important in any role I chose to play. You also reminded me when you came to stomp my alliance I made out in Syndicate.
To Fountain: Thanks for all the blob wars I got to fight with ya. And all the chaining and secret ninja mining you never caught me doing while on pass.
To CA and SE: Though I never really got involved with ya, I always enjoyed reading into your politics here on the boards.
To Roving Guns: Especially Vortex Freeman. We started our own alliance. And were quite successful. As to see that 3rd Front is alive and well today, though neither of us are in it anymore  .
To JQA: For all the 1 to 60 vs 1s. You blob like the best of them. You have come a long ways since I have known ya, keep up the good work. You have a hard road ahead of ya, I guarantee that. Stay alert and stay alive.
To DNA: Was great pvping against you way back in the day, I learned alot from ya'll. Got to fly along side ya'll for a while when I finally turned pirate. Great bunch of players. Very leet.
To CK/ASS: Among the best this game has to offer. Great pvpers and great friends. You guys will go a long ways in this game. Keep the flame of piracy burning. You guys rock. And yes you all can have my stuff.
To 3rd Front: Thanks for letting me lead you into 0.0 and claim your stake out there. You earned your right to stay, and hope you fight to the death to stay in the future.

Thanks to CCP for a great idea in gaming and generally functioning game.
YOu need to fix your clones. Tis the reason I have to leave. You UBER clones don't work. I went from 23mil skill points to crap in a matter of minutes because they don't work. And telling the player that its not CCP's fault. Well? Anothe Beta Veteran gone.
JQA/3rd F vs CK/ASS - Kill each other well. Im gonna read the forums, better be an all out war here soon.

If the clone didn't save your skillpoints, then you should get them back, tbh.
If it expired before you got podded, tough luck.
Still, sad to see you go, take care in what you do after eve.

No I just bought a new clone. Th 25mil sp one. Got podded. Dropped me from Cald BS 5 to Cald BS 1.
Then I bought a new one. Same clone. Went out, lagged out at a gate, got podded. Lost Large Hybrid 5 to lvl3 :(
Went and bought another one. Lost Energy management 5 to lvl2.
I petitioned. GM said there was nothing wrong with this. Soooo.......

Thing is, even when you get podded, you should NOT lose 4 levels in any given skill.
If I were you, I'd re-open your petition and keep asking for skill refunds.
Losing skpts (that many) is wrong and obviously a bug.

Shaelin, everyone has to move on at some point, I guess now is your time.
It does suck though if indeed you lost loads of SP frmo your uber-clone. I think now anyway, 99.999% of players keep their clones up to date. I shall post my thoughts in the idea lab to prevent cross posting...

Clones only run out when you die. Clones that hold less skill points than you have when you die, you should lose some points.
What happened here is a Clone that well covered my current SP not only didn't save the points, but Uber Erased some from me.
Im sure its some crazy bug in the game. I'm sure they can fix me. But its ok. Just someone go test this stuff and bring it up with the devs so this doesn't happen to others.

I chalk this one up to scammers, many pirates brag openly about scamming and of course this bleeds over so that the GMs think every pirate is trying to pull something and said pirates as a result end up getting poorer service.
If we've had more honorable pirates we've had more pirates.
Always bad to see someone who likes the game leave but with the recent development JQA is looking to fill that role in Pirates Alley just fine.

I'm someone who travels the Syndicate route to Solitude ever so often, on which JQA has declared that anyone who travels there, no matter what corporation, are considered a target.

There's good things to be said about Shae, and bad things as well.
I'll be honest and say I didn't like you during the last month or so, but that does not change the fact that I also remember fighting pirates with you, instead of against you.

I met Shaelin before ingame. Killed me faster than I could say hi in local. Great guy. But he didn't get my pod. The cool part is that I got to watch him fight about 10 other ppl at the same time in front of the sentries alone in his scorp. And they had like 2-3 BattleCruisers, a few Cruisers, and some leet frigates. And they all ended up in pods cept for Shaelin that is. Was pretty crazy. Damn pirates, how the hell they do that??
