If I were to wager a guesss, I remember Sir Molle had amarr titan 5 and a full set of HG slaves in his head when he lost his first (and second) titan and that was before the 70-100m sp clones were in game. -------------

I was curious, so had to look.
The Trinity "boost patch" released the 6 upgraded clones, that's 12 March 2008. A quick search for his titan losses shows two first losses at 2007.06.22 and 2008.10.26. If that's correct, "only" the first one would affect the skillpoints.
There's a couple of assumptions in that tho. #1 - That's assuming the pilot was above the clone limit at his first loss. #2 - and that he hadn't bothered to jump out of the second to upgrade his clone ahead of that loss. #3 - assuming he had Titan 5 trained, so that'd be the skill lost.
Either case, I'd wager you have a decent chance of guessing the highest (single) sp loss at that first death. - I'd tell you why but then I'll have to kill you. And to kill you I'd have to log in. And to log in I'd have to stop browsing these forums. Both you and me knows that'll never happen. |

What happens when my character dies
One person, a father who grounded his son so banned him from EVE, wanted to see what EVE was all about. He reported losing Carrier 5 and a few more levels of it on his son's account (father didn't know about clones). It was about a year of training.
I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

Would love to know how many SP have been lost in 0-W in the last few days with Cloning down.
I have popped more than a few who have appeared back in station straight away. Please re-size your signature to the maximum allowed of 400 x 120 pixels. Zymurgist |

"If your clone does not entirely cover your character skill point pool, you will lose 5% of the difference between the clone you had during the pod-kill and the skill points trained."
This is from the Advanced Warfare tutorial, fwiw.
