I don't undestand what do u mean.
CCP is already doing MMOfps ground based ( but is only for console) , mech ground based -similar ( very if u check overview and others - in fact it's EVE but ground based and with mech) would be nice in Eve space - won't it??

It's not, and there wasn't. The UI was (And is) Similar to a certain degree, but you cannot copyright a UI. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

not only the UI but loot, minerals, mech names have same or similar to eve names.
also the chat system, how local works, names of mods, and rigs, etc.
hehe
would be wicked if ccp used this for planetary interaction instead of the mouseclick macro fest we got now

Originally by: Kewso not only the UI but loot
Uhh they use basic Engineering terms and armor terms (Armor reps, Rechargers for Accumulator [cap] and such)
Originally by: Kewso Minerals
Show me one mineral name that is the same.
Originally by: Kewso mech names have same or similar to eve names.
The only one that is the same is the "Vagabond", most are nothing like eve names. (Waspish, Arbiter, Prometheus, Kain, Mesmer, Gropho, Ictus, Zenith, Tyrannos, Baphomet)
Originally by: Kewso also the chat system
Their chat is a standard IRC clone. As is eves, as is wows, as is anarchy onlines, and so on and so forth. Their chat doesnt absorb text like eves either.
Originally by: Kewso how local works
Uhh, there is no local, There is help, there is a terminal based chat, and a corp chat and then any private chats. No local/island/locational based ones (Barring terminals)
Originally by: Kewso names of mods
Again, all i can think of are the basic Engineering terms and armor terms, Shock horror, eve did not invent these.
Originally by: Kewso and rigs, etc.
Rigs dont exist in perpetuum.

Hello friend, even though this is the 15th thread on the subject I feel the urge to point this out here too: Even though you may not currently see the similarities, know that Pepsium used to be an exact replica of EVE, and that the person you're replying to might not have played it since they changed all the aesthetics to make it look a bit different from EVE. In reality however, the game is still a clone.

I've been in the Beta a good year or so now. I'm aware of what it "used to be" and it has only ever mimiced the UI, all of my points stand. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

I was accepted into the beta for this.
Tried it for 10 minutes, and it was enough for me.
It looks ATROCIOUS. I felt like I was playing a 1990s game in higher resolution. It was so horrid.

I typo'd. The actual name is Arbalest, not Arbiter. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008
