Food for Thought From: Enn DeeKay Sent: 2010.08.13 23:57 To: HELM Alliance,
HELM = Help Every Loyal Member
What do you think it means when we find we have a disloyal member or members?
Thieves, spies, traitors, trouble-makers, disruptors, leadership challengers and underminers (of who we are and what we stand for), agents provocateur and saboteur - we simply have no tolerance for such people.
When our loyal membership is put in a bad position by the disloyal our determination and implacability hardens.
The mechanisms of HELM Justice start their slow turn, the heavy cogs of weighty matters begin the reluctant process that results in the dark side of the force that is HELM coming to the fore, The bright side of HELM flares with indignation and ignites the passion for the justice that is available to us.
The whole come together in a ruthless combination to protect what we have built and are achieving.
We'll protect the good citizens of New Eden with the knowledge of what we've discovered and experienced at the hands of the treacherous.
We'll hunt constantly and consistently. The losses of the Disloyal will mount; the New Eden corporations open to the Disloyal will shrink.
Decency is what we strive for in our community. So when you seek to tarnish that in any way we turn our backs the better to protect the Disloyal from our disgust at their actions and behavior which spit on our gratitude and generosity of spirit, dragging it to a place we'd rather rise from as a group.
For those who read this and rush to the mistaken judgment of "censorship, control" and "an inability to criticize or speak freely of your good intentions to improve our alliance" you are mistaken. There is no censorship in HELM. Speak your mind with respect and dignity for who we all are and refrain from personal attack, injury or insult. Debate the idea with sound reasoning, and if you have a "bone to pick" with me or anybody take it private to sort it out. You will receive a fair hearing, and when what you offer has value, it will be put in place.
At this moment of writing some of the most influential people no-longer-with-us are those who presented great ideas badly. The ideas were done great justice, given the value and import it deserved and these are now part of the fabric and operation of the HELM alliance. Sadly some of those who first voiced those ideas are not, but in the end it was their choice to make a bad presentation.
To the Loyal, fear not, for we are fair. We do not sink to the level of the Disloyal, though we will show them that we are perfectly capable of ruthless action that for their temporary fizzle in the dark costs them dear in the long term. We are reluctant to take action against former friends, but when we know the extent of their perfidy, well we will not shirk from our duty to our community.
There is only one recourse for those who create for themselves the bill of Disloyal. Total honesty with the leaders of the HELM, and reparations for any damage or loss of confidence and that doesn't necessarily mean in simple currency. The recovery of a damaged character is a long row to hoe and there are few with the integrity and fortitude that are capable of that effort. Those that do are in the end elevated to a level few imagine possible.
So, if you're one of those who pretends to be a friend while working internally to undermine us; think carefully before you continue. Cease, or be honest and we'll help you to abandon that path of treachery you find yourself treading.
Only the honest and true can survive with us.
Sometimes you have to flush.
The HELM has horns for a reason.
tdlr: Talk to spies and help these damaged people rebuild their standing within the alliance.
Also the horns that he speaks of? well they are 'War Protocols' and they involve staying docked or risk being fined.

This... Tetrodotoxin. Should be nicely into your system by now. Isolated from the liver of a Caribbean Puffer Fish. So, it paralyzes you... and leaves all the other neurological functions perfectly intact. In other words, you can't move... but you feel everything. It does absolutely nothing to blunt the pain... and you're about to experience more of that, than you could ever fucking imagine.

To be or not to beû that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And, by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep No more û and by a sleep to say we end The heartache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to û ætis a consummation Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub, For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause. There's the respect That makes calamity of so long life. For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, ThÆ oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The pangs of disprized love, the law's delay, The insolence of office, and the spurns That patient merit of thÆ unworthy takes, When he himself might his quietus make With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life, But that the dread of something after death, The undiscovered country from whose bourn No traveller returns, puzzles the will And makes us rather bear those ills we have Than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all, And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprises of great pitch and moment With this regard their currents turn awry, And lose the name of action.ùSoft you now! The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons Be all my sins remembered

Is this a dagger which I see before me, The handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee. I have thee not, and yet I see thee still. Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible To feeling as to sight? or art thou but A dagger of the mind, a false creation, Proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain? I see thee yet, in form as palpable As this which now I draw. Thou marshall'st me the way that I was going; And such an instrument I was to use. Mine eyes are made the fools o' the other senses, Or else worth all the rest; I see thee still, And on thy blade and dudgeon gouts of blood, Which was not so before. There's no such thing: It is the bloody business which informs Thus to mine eyes. Now o'er the one halfworld Nature seems dead, and wicked dreams abuse The curtain'd sleep; witchcraft celebrates Pale Hecate's offerings, and wither'd murder, Alarum'd by his sentinel, the wolf, Whose howl's his watch, thus with his stealthy pace. With Tarquin's ravishing strides, towards his design Moves like a ghost. Thou sure and firm-set earth, Hear not my steps, which way they walk, for fear Thy very stones prate of my whereabout, And take the present horror from the time, Which now suits with it. Whiles I threat, he lives: Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives.

From "Law Abiding Citizen" right?
As for the OP... I stopped reading at 'Underminers'.... Not because of your monster post, but because I was thinking about how I could become one of your 'Undermines', sounds like a great career choice for my next direction in Eve...

allow me to make it short and sweet.
HELM is at war with Tryce Jaor's corporation, Hirogen Raiders, and Enn Deekay is as most of you know a bit of a muppet in virtually every respect. One aspect of him that causes the most mirth is his long, rambling evemails and this is a prime example of one. That's about it
