I've been using Large Shield Extenders with my Shield tanks, but I would like to see an XL Shield Extender implemented with around 5k+ hp. Is it so bad that I want a bit more protection for my shield tanks?
We have XL Shield Boosters, so why not a shield extender to match?

Short Answer: Because of Draek!
Another Short Answer: You don't need it
Long Answer: Cause shield tanking is nicely balanced as it is right now ;)

Like the idea, Wouldn't mind seeing a 3200 mm plate as well. Only concern I would have is bc passive shield tanks. (amgawd drake!) If such a module did make it ingame, it would need a high enough fitting requierment that it couldn't be practically fit to a bc class ship.
and bump on the xl armor rep too :P

Yeah, it'd need like 800+ powergrid requirements if you were going to put one in.
And yeah, they do need an XL armor repper. You don't see people putting 2x large shield boosters on, armor shouldn't have to do it since they already repair less.
