I'm no expert in video editing, nor in pvp, but I find w-space pvp to be quite unique and interesting, so when I started living there, I've decided to fraps some fights. I try to make every video different and interesting, both when it comes to content and editing. I hope you'll like what you see. Chronological order. Editing is non-existent, except for the fact that it's x3 speed. My curse was bombed upon jumping to a wormhole, the Nemesis didin't survive that. When I was looting his wreck, a Navy Domi either uncloaked or warped in. I got point, started the engagement and screamed for help in chat, since I wasn't on voice comms, and that was my first engagement in a curse, which I couldn't even fly well at the time. It all started when I went down the rabbit hole, a bit too deep this time. I found a Class 6 Wormhole with 2 empty POS's (or so we thought) and a crapton of ladar sites. We decided to go on a field trip. Following the assumption that the POS's are deserted, we have began taking them down. When the first one was about to come out of reinforced mode, the locals woke up, warped in a small fleet with 2 Dreadnoughts to Our POS, and started a counter siege. The video is a documentation of that Siege. If I'm correct, this is the first capital engagement I ever took a part of in w-space. We didn't win the fight. Operation Borscht took place in February 2012. The goal was to evict Battletech Technologies from their C5 system. We had a history with them ganking us and hiding in their POS after, not giving us the opportunity to fight back. No one likes that kind of behaviour in W-space, so we planned on getting rid of them at some point. Finally we had that opportunity. Moved in our fleet undetected, waited for the right time to strike, locking most of their fleet outside of their system in the process. We quickly reinforced their whole system and watched them self destruct most of their assets, including a number of capital ships, faction battleships and T3's. While we were waiting for the timers to run down a K162 opened into the system, and our scout reported a large KEEN fleet on the other side. Knowing that they get bored easily, eager to fight, we decided to warp in without checking their side for backup, fleet comp.. full blown Leeroy Jenkins. Since this was not our home system but an hole we invaded, we didn't have our usual pvp ships in here, mostly POS bashers, as we didn't expect a fight from the locals. We put together a fleet consisting of recons, BC's, BS's and caps, less then ideal to fight an organised T3 gang with Bhaalgorn, damnation and carrier support. But we couldn't care less at that point, we were thirsty for bood. Eventualy we realised that we cannot win that one, saving whatever ships we could, resulting in ADHC's first ever capital ship loss. We're glad that at least it was to someone that knows what they're doing, instead to some random WH gank ;) We made tons of mistakes, which resulted in taking nearly 17 bil isk in loses, but we're glad we did.
