Eve has booted me 3 times today in a 20min period. I was wondering if anyone else in North West America is having these issues as well. I can log in for about 2 minutes. Everything works except jumpgates and then I get the "Connection Lost" window about 3 times on my screen, before a crash to desktop.
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, I've been playing for almost 4 months with no issue untill today, so I don't think it's my setup.

Yeah im having the same problem...was in Rens trying to dock at Brutor Tribe Treasury and it crashes with "Cannot connect to transport Server connection lost" error...its fine until i get near the station, but i can't get out of warp since it crashed near there.
Stuck in space...hope i have enough food and water to last me :) |

having the same problem since early morning, when snow started to fall on a character selection screen 8) maybe this is the reason? 8)

Live in Southeast USA, been having this problem for days. A Gm tried to help by getting me to repackage my ship, but that didnt help for very long, server is booting me again.
I've tried reinstalling eve, that hasn't worked either.

yay...im not alone...well guess its not to great but im having the same problem...except i can do anything but in 5min or less i get booted...ive played other online games and have never had a connection problem so its weird tried reinstalling and installing on another comp, same problem on both...hope they can figure out whats up.

Getting booted too but on a much longer period so not convinced it's my broadband or something. Just started in the last 3 days.
Still researching between mince pies... and wrapping paper.. 8P

Ok, found out the problem was with wireless connection with my belkin router. Problems started after I came home for winter break and got my dad's laptop hooked up to wireless. Even when his laptop is off, now Eve has regular problems with the router. Hooking my computer directly to the modem fixes it. I've tried putting my computer in the DMZ of the router, but that doesn't help any
Is everyone thats having probs using a belkin router? The Linksys one I have in my apartment back at school works with no problems whatsoever

Same prob here,
Sometimes wont load the character screen, other times it bombs out randomly during the game... really frustrating.
Ive tried clearing the Cache and installing the latest build, still the same prob.

Well I logged in earlier today and actually was able to have hours of continous gameplay and then the entire server messed up and they rebooted. Just logged back in and having the same problem again. It's to frustrating 'cause now I know there nothing wrong at my end.

Well I figured out what was causing mine to disconnect. Everytime I try and copy a bookmark into my cargohold/hanger I get disconnected (about 45 sec to 1.5min afterwards). Also whenever I try and use my scanner I loose connection about 1.5min after pressing the scan button. Not when I just open the scanner, but when I accually hit the scan button. I can only assume it's been this way since the latest patch, however I just tried using the functions recently. As long as I don't copy BM's or scan everything is fine. Sucks though because I'm the scout that make mass BM's for my corp :( If someone knows a fix please private message me, send me an in game eve mail "EwokPoacher" or a real email [email protected]

Having this problem as of 45 minutes ago. I get logged in just fine, pass authentication, pass 'entering game as...', but as soon as I exit the login warp, I can do nothing but wait the 20 or so seconds till I get multiple 'Connection to the server has been closed' messages and booted back to startup screen.
Never had any problems up till this point, and was even logged in earlier today playing as normal.

From this I take it that something has happened with eiter my client or TQ that doesnt wanna play ball when the system sdcanner gets above a certain amount of detected objects and then chokes on it, booting me to the login screen
I have had another few random disconnects, but never before has this happened to me, now its every darn time the scanner gets to many hits....what the heck is the problem...

Add one more to the collection...tho it seems a server in new jersey i pass thru that's acting a little flakey,since i ran the trace ip program and it reports lag as low as 30 ms one time,but can go as high as 220 the next(hop n 7)..
I'm Getting quite a bit of rubber banding in game and other weird stuff,could those lag spikes cause the CTD's too?

i swear you have every disconnection bug in the game. you cant use alt - tab for ts, you cant drag bms to cargo, you cant use your scanner.
maybe its time for format c and start over?

Well after playing for only 2 days, I have found a SOLUTION for my MANY disconnects.
I connect direct to my Cable Modem. Works like a charm without the Router/Firewall. Bad idea for anyone with sensitive data on their PC. But for me, I have nothing of value on it. And I have a backup image just in case I have to reinstall Windows.
P.S. I was not getting any Blue Screens or system reboots, only disconnects.
Hopefully, this helps someone else.

I have a similar problem. When I have my computer directly connected to the DSL "Modem" I have no connection issues. When I go through my USR Router, I have connectivity problems with EVE and myeve.eve-online.com.
When connected to the router, I can get to anywhere else on the internet with no problem.
What's weird about EVE and the MYEVE site?
