Edited by: Cheque Please on 17/08/2010 23:44:36 Ladies and Gentlemen,
As I have a good deal of my own isk tied up in long-term investments, I'm here to humbly ask for a short term infusion of 1.5 billion. This will be paid off at 10% after 1 month for a total of 150m interest.
Each share will be worth 100m a piece.
Two reasons why I am doing this:
- To shore up some of these long-term investments.
- To resume casual daytrading without having to sell off stuff that I think will rise in price. A little while ago, under similar circumstances, I sold off a whole bunch of coolant at 9k right before the spike and have been kicking myself ever since.
Post here or EVE mail me if you're interested. Previous investors will have priority so long as they let me know in a timely manner.
Other stuff I'm running:
LLSE stock Bond #1
No audit
edit: Oh man, I *almost* forgot the haiku again. What folly.

Edited by: Cheque Please on 18/08/2010 00:26:29 The payout date will be one month after everyone sends me their reservation. So if this fills up in one-two days, probably somewhere around Sept. 18-20
Edit: And that payout will be principal + interest attached since it's only a 1 month bond. --- WORMHOLE SERVICE RL Meeting w/ Chribba

Mis-counted, looks like there's 14 reserved ahead of me. I'll take 1 then or 2 if someone backs out.

k, that's fine. Send me 100m and I'll let you know if someone backs out for the other share
The bond is now filled (quite fast). I added a reserve list. Please send me your isk when the servers come up or whenever you get the chance in the near future and I'll officially launch it.
To any previous investors who may have wanted to get in on this: I'll send you guys an EVE mail a few days in advance to any future opportunities, heh. Sorry.

The bond is already filled up ( and sadly I don't have the cash lieing around to invest ), but I'd like to add a couple of cents here anyway.
I am one of the investors in one of her bonds, and she has paid up her interest of last month. So as far as I know, this isn't a scam.
PS: In before the 'SCAAM!'-trolls.

i gotta ask, just because i've been put through the ringer myself:
a - how much in third party funds do you currently have? b - how much have you paid back to investors over the life of your bonds/funds/etc? c - how much more are you going to raise in the future?

While it's not as profitable as selling at the top of the price peak, this is a prudent (I feel you acted because of fear though, as markets are driven by greed and fear (to lose what achieved so far)). Consolidating profits is always good, you can always reopen "positions" after the retracements and go long till the top, possibly scaling down on your stock as prices rises towards the peak.

Nah, she/he/it got an audit. That means that he/she/it couldn't scam, right? I thought that was the point of audits. To remove the risk of a scam. After all, I always see people reserving shares in something and just saying pending audit they never ask any other questions or anything so it must remove the risk of scams!

Is there anything a relatively unknown character could write for a bond that would satisfy you? You berate this guy because he's audited and the last guy because he's not. If you don't want to invest **** off and let the rest of us wipe our butts with our isk if we want to.

The trick is to exploit others' fear and greed, that's what gets you ahead.
However, market hindsight is 20/20, yet its future behavior is prone to so many factors it's nearly impossible to consistently predict its movement. Granted the EVE market is much simpler, but that's not to say it's easy.
If you sold your stuff at a profit, relax and enjoy the ISK

A smart investor would answer your initial question with "No. There is nothing an unknown money raising character could say to satisfy me."
I was in the same spot. I started out with 1.5B of my own funds invested along side 2B of other people's ISK. I returned over 400% and THEN upped it to a higher amount.
Wait until the guy actually RETURNS some ISK before putting more in for christ's sake.
We have no idea if he will walk with every incremental ISK over 300M right now.

This was more of a jab at those people that rely solely on audits to determine whether it is safe to invest or not. The last guy I doubt I berated, I think what you may be referring to was when I have told someone that others will not invest without an audit or collateral. This post was as I said a pass at those investors who only rely on audits rather than their own common sense.
