I've got an eye on getting into manufacturing down the road, but right now i'm focused on getting a good start isk-wise with two accounts (second one isn't up yet, but will be soon). Im training my first character here to fly caldari missile ships and run missions, what would be a good complement to my drake or raven here? I'd like to eventually specalize my characters into more industry based things, so I don't consider the high-end ships to be an option. I just want a pair that can feasibly run level 4 missions together safely and help me build a nest egg for my industrial operations.
Thanks in advance.

This. However, a sentry domi with it's drones assigned to the raven will make the missions go much faster.

RR sentry Domi + Raven, or turtle tank sentry Domi + Raven. That way you'll get the equivalent of one fairly high skilled BS out of the pair of them from the start.

Edited by: Tiver Gladius on 19/08/2010 14:54:37 I run all L4 missions (in Minmatar & Gallente space) with a passive tank Drake... dual accounts are not necessary at all if your goal is to be a mission runner. That said, you can typically complete them faster with a Raven or my preference, a Tengu.

I'm assuming you definitely want a Raven on one character.
Your options while you are both low SP imo:
Second Raven - Fit both Ravens with a Shield Transporter identical fits. Whichever gets more aggro have the other help rep them. If aggro splits just both individually tank.
Drake - Have a drake with a heavy tank and put a cloak on the raven so it can avoid aggro between spawns.
Or, splitting out of Caldari
Dominix would be fine, any battleship really could work paired with it. Your doing double dps so the tank of both ships can be less, doesn't really matter what you bring, though Amarr would be lousy vs. gurista which i assume you are fighting.
Basically 2 battleships are going to make level 4's a breeze even if you dont fit/play them perfectly. Just manage your trigger spawns so you don't get 4 waves on you at once, and pay attention to damage types and switch your tank accordingly, and you are fine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CAPSLOCK, BECAUSE SOMETIMES REGULAR FONT JUST, ISN'T, GOOD ENOUGH. |

i use a artoe maelstrom and a CNR to run missions in gallente space, i find that i can quickly get my mael to destory BC sized rats at range while the CNR concentrates on BS sized rats. Since both have good tanks i can grab aggro for both of them and release drones to guard each other. all through since both are active shield tanked it can be a little micromanaging though.

You have to alt-tab between the 2 clients constantly. Sentry domi solves that.
