Edited by: mean bunny on 19/08/2010 16:08:41 I went to this video rental store and made a new account. I told them that I didnt have my ID with me and I smooth talked the employee to take my info anyway and let me rent a couple games. She said okay and I gave her a fake name and address and phone number.
So I rented 3 or 4 of the top games at the time. Mind you, this was 15 years ago when the N64 was the main console system. I drove about 20 miles away and sold the games to a comic book shop that bought used games. I made a quick $60 bucks and bought some weed.
I then smoked the weed and felt bad about what I had done. I swore I would never scam again. I stayed true to that oath for about 10 years. Until a game called EvE came out and I started my video game career as a scammer.

Silly to post rl scams like that, bro. You probably are being back-traced as we speak :-/ You might have gotten away with it 15 years ago but nowadays consequences will never be the same.

Oh yeah, he dun goofed for sure. The cyber police are probably back-tracing him as we speak. His consequences are almost surely different than they will ever have been.

<.< blanked from when I linked it somewhere else. I never meant to scam, it was a joke contract. I remember cursing myself for putting it on before realising how much the broker fee was.. and I was pretty poor back then.

My best scam was when i used to chat dudes up in local pretending i was a chick.I would even get on MSN with them and send them fake picture of myself in various layers of clothing until naked.I would use this method to bleed isk from my target.I have since moved on from this scam as i dont have any time to do so anymore. *Edit* my best one
I want you to realize the fact that you assisted guys in their masturbat1on and tell me how you feel about that.

Criminal Justice 101- Today we're going to discuss statute of limitations.
"A statute of limitations is an enactment in a common law legal system that sets forth the maximum time after an event that legal proceedings based on that event may be initiated."
Basically, if it happened a long time ago unless it's some heinous crime you cannot be charged for it. --------------------------------

We ransomed and then killed all our victims :)
some of the best times I ever had im EVE, We'd run mission scams from when we got up till we went to bed before downtime. We collected over 60-70b in the time it was open before CCP fixed it. Cant run mission scams anymore sadly =/ was amazing ISK though, never paid for EVE a day in my life back then just bought GTCs which at that time were 30 days for 170mill? so yeah
Those of you who werent here back then there was 2 ways of running mission scams
1. Corporation A & Corporation B are at war with each other and then you have an alt that is in Corporation B ask for help with a mission in local. The hardcore care bear mission runnings agree and join fleet. Boom they'd instantly become a War Target to Corporation A could be killed and podded.
2. The same thing happens but this time you use an alt that isn't in Corporation A or B but hes in B's fleet. The differnce was when you invited them to fleet it was just a standard fleet invite.
With the 1. way I posted if you invited someone to fleet, they'd get a message saying you were at war but most big time mission runners never paid attention to it.
shame CCP put an end to it, people just arnt smart sometimes. but in the end it was a good fix because it was inflating prices of ships & mods as well as raising CCP's petitions inbox from people who raged.
