I end up logged onto eve at random times all throughout the day, so I am sure no matter what timezone you're in we will end up meeting in the middle someplace with little issue. That, and the fact we have other instructors cooking as well.

Regarding Your Inquiry: If itÆs ôBalls to the wall PVPö you want from day one, this is probably not the corporation for you. We are active, however the corp focus is based upon PVP excellence, not simply daily roams through low sec. If everyday fleet work is what you are looking for, hit up any of the Pirate corp recruiters, they will be happy to have you. Here, it is more important to ensure that every single pilot who enters gets the on one one training that they need to rise to the next level of game play. That is what we do everyday, be it roams or PVP Classes.

I've now reactivated my account and this corp sounds ace. I'm currently working towards properly kitting a T2 Tank BC, but my skills are a bit haphazard still. Have I got a chance at a spot?

What else can you ask for ? how about a laid back environment ? check how about a good group of guys (and one girl) who play all timezones ? check how about regular roams where you not only learn the tricks of Eve pvp but you may even get a kill here or there (fun is not guaranteed - but it's very likely) ? check how about organization, a vision of where corp is headed, and the means/know how to execute said plan? check I dont know what you are looking for in Eve corp wise but the above all works for me, that being said -- bump to the top! Started my killing spree when I was three days old, alone in Villore in my Punisher. My first taste of blood hooked me on PvP ever since. "New guys might hold you back, probably not something you'll be looking for" I thought. The opposite is true however. People are undergoing training, the atmosphere is awesome, people are eager and adapt seemingly fast to whatever information theyre given. Yet, in reality, Eve gameplay is sorely lacking for most players going though the trenches (and triumphs) solo. As far as the learning experience? It would take a blog to cover week one alone and how much FUN I've had in the process. Did I really evade that 300+ incoming blob, after I met Mr. Bubble, with pod intact? This when I had to be reminded to breathe on the first low-sec roam days prior. The killer KB stats will come, if that's my goal; meanwhile, for me at least, it truly is about the journey and the people. Oh, and there is plenty of entertainment for those so inclined, too.

You can try googling "EVE Gate" It is a new website that allows us to EVE mail each other in game, without having to be logged on. The only mmo I've played is WoW & I played it for 3 years on and off. I did the grinding, leveling, and finally got into pvp. It was fun, but in the end it didn't fit with the way I felt pvp should be. It should be all or nothing, it should involve risk which includes gear, weapons, items whatever you're carrying and gold. I started looking for other mom's to play and that's when I found eve. I went through a few trial accounts learning mostly the pve side of the game. In the end I knew what I wanted to do so I made a new character soley for the purpose of fighting other players & just slaying bodies. My first few ventures out were filled with losses but after each engagement I learned what I did wrong, what I did right, and what I could do next time that would bring me my first kill. More losses followed but each one I did more damage & lasted longer in the fight until I finally got my first victory. The one thing that made an impression on me & motivated me to keep going n trying was that adrenaline rush in every single fight. No game online or offline has ever done that to me & it was crazy lol. After that first kill I racked up a few more solo kills, my best one being an interdictor (can't remember the exact ship type but it was something along those lines). I did all that in a Rifter. Right then and there I knew EVE was the game for me and that pvp is what I want to do. With that said, I want to further my training and learn more so I can progress as a fighter. In your OP it said you need a BC t2 fits to get started, I would like to know if you make exceptions? I can start training for it, the problem for me is raising the funds to purchase a BC AND fit it with t2 equipment. I haven't found a way to bring in a steady source of income. Can you still train/coach me if a rifter is all I can afford and have the most experience flying with? Minmatar!

I have not flown them in a while, but when I first started PVPÆing Rifters were all I ever flew. Here are some links from a VERY old killboard: Solo'd Navy Slicer In Rifter Solo'd Hulk In Rifter [Almost] Solo'd Caldari Navy Raven In Rifter ^^^ Although, in the end, I couldnÆt break his capacitor regeneration like I hoped, I still did 77,000 damage over a period of 20 minutes and managed to get him into armor. I ended up tricking him into aggressing another pilot's tech I cruiser, who later came back in an Armageddon to polish him off \0/ My little Rifter still did 27,000 more damage then his Battleship did though We will show you how to make ISK and not be a poor PVP'er, that's the easy part. In the meantime you can function as a scout for our PVP gangs. All you need is a tech I fitted Rifter and your set for scouting duty [TBH Even a shuttle would do] Anyone with a measure of intelligence can get good at PVP in EVE Online. The Benifit of PWNED Factor is this: you can skip years of trial and error and skip strait to "What Actually Works Best" Our Instructors have years of combined experience PVP'ing, and we are willing to pass on our knowledge to pilots like you. Regarding activity level, we just want people who are willing to learn and work as a team when they are actually logged on and sitting in front of their keyboard. How often you log on is not nearly as important as what you do when you are in game.

Unfortunately, I had an experience with PWNED Factor that is quite contradictory to the ones described in the other comments. I spent almost 3 weeks in PWNED Factor. Before joining, I knew the very, very basics of PVP--don't autopilot through lowsec, and make sure you have ammo just about sums up my knowledge. In the three weeks that I was there, I've learned some basics about PVP armor tanking, found a few fits, and learned some very, very basic FC skills. That's all. In three whole weeks. Nearly three weeks of time, and with the exception of a few ship fits, almost all the knowledge I have gained has been through the forums and personal research. I've gained next to no PVP experience--in the times where I was able to get into a fleet, we spent hours warping and jumping from system to system, finding no one, killing no one (with the exception of a single Battleship/cruiser duo). The rest of the time, there was either no fleet, or those in the fleet completely ignored my requests to get in on the action. Speaking of being ignored--wow, did I ever get shoved to the side. Though I asked countless questions (What are fleet bonuses? How are they applied? What's the point of using frigates at all? etc., etc.) very few of them were answered, and I wound up spending most of my time on forums, looking for answers myself. I can do that very well without being part of a corp, thank you. Once, someone considered talking to me about my cruiser's tank, but they never got around to it. PWNED seems to have developed an intolerance for people with questions. Whoop-dee-do. Extreme boredom set in a week ago, which isthe time I began to have my doubts about the benefits of PWNED. Just about half an hour ago I finally broke down and decided it was necessary to quit corp. The way I figure, I can learn more in the militia. Even though it's fairly inactive right now, anything is better than the dead boredom I've encountered here in PWNED. So, I suppose I'll close with: Bump for a corp which has some competent PVPers, but needs to get its act together really, really badly.

When I was ready to PvP (with 16 mil SP), I spent several months chatting with CEOs and former UNI members to get a sense of what PvP corp might work for me. I stumbled upon PwnedFactor by chance and thought I would give Eternum a try. Best decision I have made in Eve. In one month, I've learned more as a member of PwnedFactor than in the 11 mos previously. I have become a competent small gang PvPer, on my way to becoming an excellent solo and small gang PvPer. I have been well trained to FC, fly logistics, and prepared for action in 0.0. And this is from someone who is only on 10 hrs/wk at most. That's all happened while I still have time to mission to generate ISK unlike many other PvP corps. Plus, unlike some other PvP training corps, our folks are truly friendly, supremely helpful, have no attitudes, and great senses of humor. I've been so impressed that I have volunteered to train new members to fly BCs effectively and conduct initial recruiting interviews. Take it from someone who doesn't tolerate bull**** or letting club members be disrespectful of each other, this is a great place to learn whether you just want PvP basics or you want to become a master.

Even test server PVP'ing has been pretty exciting and great training to turn me into my own animal. Thanks guys!

As a mature female player with a lower and/or differently skilled toon (comparatively) than the bulk of the group I have felt a bit isolated at times. So what did I do? Not in order of importance: a) Worked on skills, isk-generation, getting to know others and offering to participate regardless of how many times people failed to jump up and down from the offer. b) Yeah, unanswered questions can be frustrating but how many could have been answered at a better time or place, found via your own initiative and how many were germane to the current focus. Were you questions on how to FC when we had a suddenly hostile system to worry about (just an example). I even took an outside noob PVP class and do massive amounts of PVP-related reading to improve myself. This due to my insatiable appetite to learn, and accelerate the process, one which is not practical to cover in a short amount of time. Avid reader or not, learning PVP takes time. c) I reminded my self that people are busy in RL and with EVE as well as with their own PVP-related needs too. My schedule doesn't always fit with the ops and that's not anyone's fault and if those that are longer-term friend, corpmates want to hang on their own sometimes, that's not unreasonable. I would be worried if it was. d) I recognize that a corp is not created in my image and that not everyone is not going to be buddy buddy -- that is not an excuse for drama or disrespect though. Otherwise, time (to get to know people) and action tends to improve those incompatibilities greatly. If not, then people change corps, happens daily without incident. e) I was on nearly all the time until recently (believe we got along in quite limited contact) and I don't remember you asking me once to do anything, either. Other than that, you're just hurting yourself to post here as you have been. I respected what you had to say in the context of an opinion, but personal differences are never a valid reason to trash a corp and this is the wrong place for personal rants. It increasingly sounds like you just want attention, are quite unhappy with EVE and need a scapegoat because it's hard to fit in somewhere. Saiba Ookami	Posted - 2010.10.26 02:12:00 - [189] i just joined PWNED FACTOR today ive been in the channel public that is for about 2 days i added the entire corp both actuly to friends list at diffrent blue standings so i could see how active it was. and from my experiance its been great. i got on sisi the test server and i spent i dunno probly like 2 hrs learning pvp and figureing out what ship/role suited me. before PWNED FACTOR i would try a ship spend millions of isk to just lose it and haveta go buy another while banging head on wall woundering what i did wrong while i grind out the isk again. finaly i relize its not just me its the ships i try and fly and the fact i wasent skilled enough for them. however i do have great skills in another skip and i should be flying it. i learned some diffrent pvp tactics today about my new pvp ship and others out there and the capabilitys. its a great corp and im happy to be here. i cant wait to figure out questions and ask alot. i cant wait to go on roams setup by me or others to learn pvp in small gnags or even go out solo and try what i learned. so far ive had a blast yes its only been 2 days and a few hrs now sinces i been in corp. but im also on 12-18hrs a day with no life so that 2 days is more like a week or more the people are active and very very helpfull. thank you for leting me join i hope to learn alot new and good things and i hope to help those who are newer then me so they can learn from my experaince and mistakes :)

Don't try and base someone's effectiveness on blunt KB stats - especially not Battleclinic haha. Thing is, like EP stated, 6 months in null and someone can have a 1000 kills, simply because he or she was part of a monster blob vs monster blob fight and managed to tag 30% of the targets with his t1 railgun, and as such has a 'kill' added to his/her stats without actually having to have contributed much to the fight to begin with. If this is a worry you might have let me guarantee you. The trainers know their stuff and have experience. They take their time to tutor you and have the patience to deal with questions, desires and whatnot. But very few people have the experience, patience and maturity to work EFFECTIVELY with both new and experienced PVPers on a consistent basis. Additionally, many pilots lack patience to learn and just want to killz sumpthin. I've been PVPing for about 2-3 weeks total (had a bit of a break) and have lost track of the kills I've had in the last two days both in Sisi and Tranquility via PWNED. I thought about joining RvB too (like the poster above), originally, but am glad I didn't. I see its purpose and respect it -- to get people out of station and into PVP cheaply and to learn by doing. Then again, RvB aside, you can make mistakes repeatedly, kill and be killed ad nauseum and not learn much of anything useful, especially when you're not flying with the blob or fleet. 1v1 training and teamwork by motivated trainers and trainees is where it's at...for me anyway. And since I have other EVE interests I am content with becoming an omgwtfnoobspwnedme pilot for now while being taught both 101 and intermediate tactics...yet the BBQ option isn't off the table aka Toxic Granny to some here

That being said, I have never had an issue where I couldnt find someone to fleet up with. I've never had a question unanswered. I've never had a play session without fun being had. I do ask as soon as I log on to eve and TS "Where is the fleet?" If there is not one I start one and everytime I do within a few minutes I get a 2-4 man gang and am having a ball. I'm not an FC or even an accomplished PVPer, but with this corp that doesnt matter If you want to fleet up your mates will join. My guess is if your not having fun with this corp its because you choose not to have fun. I pay for this game every month just like everyone else and I'll be dam if I sit in station waiting for someone to ask me to have some fun. Again EP +10

puff freak	Posted - 2010.11.21 01:39:00 - [233] I've been flying alongside EP and the rest of PWNED for about a week now and I've learned more in that short period of time then I did in about 3 months of 0.0 alliance warfare. But that's not the most impressive thing about PWNED. What really surprised me was that after only 2 hours in their public channel I already felt at home within the alliance. The members are so awesome and I always have people to fly alongside, even if its just me and some other guy going out in frigs roaming the nearby systems.

I've only played EVE for 4 months, mostly running L4 missions and (unsuccessfully) dabbling at PVP. But in those two weeks in PWNED, I've had: 1) more fun 2) seen more of EVE 3) made more ISK than in the 3 months prior to joining. Thanks PWNED!

So I did shed a few Carebear tears when you kicked me. I was hoping for some PvP training so I can stop with these tears! I am just tired of playing with 16-22 year old people who have no jobs and no friends outside of eve so they come into eve, form a corporation, sucker people in, make racist jokes, demean everybody else in the corp/alliance, exact their real-life control issues on other players, etc. With a real job and a real family I like to spend my time on eve having fun. It is slightly interesting because just minutes before, as the conversation below indicates, you would have accepted me into your corp had I applied. I am glad you kicked me because you probably fit into the description mentioned above, right? I mean after all, a good CEO probably would have asked for clarification on anything he had concerns about instead of instantly kicking them from chat. Like for example I only have 40k EHP while I should be able to get 100k EHP according to battleclinic loadout I am using: Hyperion Loadout There are probably other ships I should be flying with different fittings, i dnno but I liked the idea behind the loadout.

So the question becomes is that something you are going to want to field consistently? Arazu's are also epic win and shield tank very well if you are interested. Is there any minimum playtime? I can play for 2 days all weekend (wed thur) but I work a twelve hour shift the rest of the week, and at most I could attend meetings or whatever during the week. I've been mining and missioning so long when I came back to see the ****storm over incarna, I took one look at my hulk and though no, not anymore. There are lots of experiences players with a solo or gang background (or even alliance tournament commentary) who take the time to answer your questions and teach you their secrets.
