Thread worthy indeed. I've just unwittingly spat coffee all over the keyboard after reading the loadout 
It's not the mining lasers, it's the micro shield extender that's priceless... |

If we're on the subject of funny raven fits then I got one very funny:
High: 6x assault launchers, 2x heavy neutralizers
Meds: cap rechargers and 2x heavy cap injectors
Lows: 1x L armor rep, 3x hardeners, 1xcap relay
I made this setup up to surprise a friend of mine and make him laugh when there were a few of us COL members fooling around on the Singularity test server the day when Exodus was being deployed. My friend was using a raven with 6x sieges, 2x nossies, a heavy shield tank and then pdu's and ballistics.
Now the funny thing was that I outlasted him using light missiles...
I'd love to bring a very named setup like that one (I was using all standard stuff) to a raven vs raven duel and beat the guy using light missiles

I once took a noob gun equipped Rifter into battle.. i had no guns and 3 reapers.. what can i say... free ammo.. :)
I sometimes wonder what people think when they set their ships up...
Then again if he/she was mining in safe space, i guess as long as the setup works, why change it...
