system specs p4 3 ghz xp pro directx 9.0c 66.93 nvidia drivers ti4600 graphics card
game visuals become very distorted after about one minute of game running from the hangar view. Images become overlapped and the main view develops hundreds of vertical colored lines as well as a few vertical and diagonal regions of solid color. I have a pic of what it looks like, but i do not know how to post a picture to the web. I will if someone tells me how

EVE runs fine for me under SP2, and I'm using the same video driver (66.93). Could be that card with this driver though (I've got a 6800), you might try an older WHQL driver. Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. -- Winston Churchill |

i have tried rolling back the drivers, but the problem continues. The issue is that this problem spontaneously appeared w/o updating the computer in any way. This problem existed before I updated the drivers. The problem also produces small black dots on the screen. Ive tried turning down my AGP aparature size and turning off AA and AF, but the problem still returns. The game ran great for months and then developed this problem about 3 weeks ago.

AFAIK, the black dots have been a little game prob since the game has existed, but some people haven`t noticed it: Its not a new bug.
You fail to tell us your ingame graphics settings, they might help sort the prob... Corp Chief Engineer |
