Celestial Apocalypse is retracting our Alliance empire wars. Its been a lot of fun fighting in empire the past 3-4 weeks. Honestly its been a blast.
Sadly we are getting bored of fighting in empire and we are going to do something different in the new year, a 0.0 op of some kind, yet to be decided. We are taking a short break over christmas and we can't justify the expensive upkeep of the alliance wars during this period of inactivity.
Respect to the SE and CA that actually came out and fought us. Especially to Light darkness and co whose organisation and PVP ability dramiatically improved throughout the war.
Hightlights for us, where the good fights in nonni and the battle of kermerk which was one of the hardest fought slugfests i have been in. Hightlights for SE was probably battle of Yulai, where that ecm fleet took us by surpirse. Anyway well done. Shame on your alliance buddies flamed us from the safetly of deep stain, and the SE corps that left the offical alliance during this time.
Respect also to the CA we met, but tbh after the xetic war was over we didnt see much of CA in empire. Respect as always to the CA Russians who fight hard and got a good few kills on us.(actually mostly just on FED )
Lowlights for the wars were loot can thieves and target lock jumping bugs, and concord
Anyway we should have a short video coming out soon from the fights in nonni and the battle of kermerk. I'll probably host some of the raw footage on our, soon to be ressurected "Apocalypse Theatre"
Anyway we are taking a well deserved rest over the christmas period and will return in the new year with a new op. Happy christmas from CELES.

I don't see the diffrence in the fights in the Empire and 0.0 space other then it's harder to realize how many hostiles u could be faceing there because of all the traffic and noob around.
The way I see it is that u are getting hard time fithing us, and you can't gank ppl as easly anymore!!!

yet after 3 weeks of fighting in empire SA resorts to 90% flying in shuttles and frigates with a few exceptions.
thats not good enough to keep our attention though.
me and my fellow corpmates do not play this game to chase the odd frigate or shuttle all day long.
it started well and then SA lost steam.
and i dont know how you even know anything about it since you only taken part once in any killmail wich were down in b-3
funny that all the SA crap talkers have had a minimum if any fights with celest yet they know everything there is to know.
i guess we can call them tools of SA.

You still don't get it, do you? Your firing shots excuse to start a war has nothing to do with what I said. And if you really think a bunch of people firing at each other means that entire alliances want to go at each other in a full scale war (in Empire no less), then you got less brain juices than I first thought.
You might think it's good enough to start a full scale war, but you're still not getting that SE may not (and hasn't, AFAIK) go over much trouble to getting rid of mosquito bites in Empire space while they're doing their business in 0.0

First off: Foyle you won the bet.
Second: Malken you arrogant little bastard, you should try fighting an enemy that won't fight an even fight under any circumstances and then try to decide wether you have THE SLIGHTEST interest in fighting the little pieces of **** who do that.

yet after 3 weeks of fighting in empire SA resorts to 90% flying in shuttles and frigates with a few exceptions.
thats not good enough to keep our attention though.
me and my fellow corpmates do not play this game to chase the odd frigate or shuttle all day long.
it started well and then SA lost steam.
and i dont know how you even know anything about it since you only taken part once in any killmail wich were down in b-3
funny that all the SA crap talkers have had a minimum if any fights with celest yet they know everything there is to know.

Its a very lame tactic, not one we saw too often or ever used by us. Its easily nullified by using "set autotarget to zero". All our pilots have this set. Tbh if u were targeted in this way, it was not by a celes alt, probably a loot can vulture.
Anyway most of the loses to concord in the war on both sides were due to lag. By the time u have locked, the UI has rejumped and u can think u are shooting on the right target but u aint, but concord wont understand.

But I find it very ironic that you complain about SE not sending a bigger part of the legions after you.
We aren't only in 0.0 to reap the bigger profits abailable there. We're rather there mostly to escape Concord and sec ratings. Most members HATE to go to empire space. It's an evil thing you'll have to stand for maybe an hour each month when you go to sell/buy stuff for which there's no market in Stain. And of course it's easier and less risky to go there in a frigate if you don't need bigger cargo.
The war you declared on us was for actions that happened in 0.0. You know exactly where to find us in 0.0.
So, when you declared the war it must have been to gank our members that go to sell/buy stuff in empire.

Not at all. Light Darkness and the other commanders and soldiers have done good.
We're not used to fight in empire and we've lost some ships to Concord.

Umm.. There's a real good reason to fly those: Speed. Warping at 6AU/sec cuts travel time down greatly when you are moving things around. I rarly need to move over 200m3 at any given time, so I'll grab a frig and cut my travel time by almost a half.
If you saw less haulers, then that's probably because they learned the systems that you frequented and avoided them.

More than ship setups and individual tactics I am really interested in the organization of the PvP groups of Eve, Celest not withstanding. I'll never forget the time I uncloaked, alone, and my dual tech2 backup Geddon was rendered useless by jamming and I was killed in 10 seconds.
That being said, I'd like to know Little Wolf's setup as in that battle she tore us apart.

and as you only had been in one single battle against us and you were called the primary target on that occasion.
hopefully there will be a video release soon also that totally refutes the "fact" of us only fighting when we have 3-1 odds or better that SA has claimed and also you will see our enemies also driving battleships and a ****load of support.
and those guys who was in empire who fought us have my respect for giving us some great fights and they tossed us a few curveballs also wich was pretty fun.
what i do not like however is the constant whining and wailing from people who was nowhere near any fights who claims we only gank shuttles and indys.
you all know the story behind this war.
SA shot at celest 3 times and the third time they podded one pilot and the DSMA ppl who were involved reimbursed the other pilots ship with no fuss at all but with SA it was supposed to take "a couple of weeks" to reimburse the podded pilot.
and then when a SA fleet sat together with celest at the keberz gate a atuk pilot warps in and crawls on towards the gate and promptly gets shot up since they are long time enemys of celest.
and as the fighting starts when SA attacks the celest fleet then the rest of the SA warps/gates in and we are then at a state of war since.
you have people like lana lane who put up escrows at every station in nonni with the description "celes sucks blaah...blaah...blaaah" and so on.
and revara who got more stabs in his scorp then you normally can fit in a scorp and who ran everytime there was 2 of us anywhere in sight even if it was 2 frigs.
he also thought it was fun to make a bookmark with the description "you suck" and open a trade window with me after he and that fleet of 40 ships total didnt succed to gank catch my scorp wich didnt even have a single warpcore stab in it.
and masta killa who has been warned alot by the mods on this forum for his earlier behaviour on these forums( or more likely his poor choice of words at the time).
the amount of crap some of the SA pilots have been spewing in local chat has been totally out of order.
to me that looks like many SA pilots have what is called "need of proffessional help" syndrome.
also known as "you guys need to chill and unplug for a while.
im pretty sure even those guys could be nice and friendly if they only realized that this is a game not real life.

I'm seriously annoyed now. Before I left to X-mas vacation, we were on a good track to turn the tide against celes. We nearly even reached a status quo in battleship kills the week before I left.
Now I'm coming back, full of energy and motivation to finish the terrorist threat,to force celes to retract the war and what happened? CCP dramatically increased the cost for a war, giving celes an excuse to steal away.
I was really curious to see, if celes has the guts to fight a war with ongoing, daily battles during the next months. I still believe that they don't have a clue what a war against Stain Empire means. We never saw them standing a ground. They always left to safe haven after some weeks of ganking for licking their wounds.

Are you serious? You obviously don't have a clue, we live for this kind of thing. Now it's no secret that we can't muster a blob to equal the numbers that SE can generate, but there have been many occasions when we've fought outnumbered (as long as it wasn't riduculously outnumbered).
We fought the Curse alliance for months and managed to do quite well for ourselves. Curse proved themselves to be a worthy and (for the most part) honorable foe. They taught us a thing or two on more than one occasion. The point being that "daily battles during the next months" would be welcomed by us.
The bad thing is that we have been on the receiving end of more smack and crap from SE then we ever caught from CA, which is (frankly) rather unexpected and disappointing. Especially given that SE are the ones that started the conflict to begin with.
Citing increased war cost as "an excuse to steal away" is laughable, don't flatter yourself. We do what we wish and frankly we made more than we spent off loot from SE carcasses.

Just wanna put my three-penneth in. I have total respect for Celes now I have fought them first hand. I had a really fun couple of weeks in empire even though I lost every ship I had :). Thanks for the fun, hopefully it will happen again sometime (although give me a chance to get some more ships!). Shout out to Lodhi, he made the experience of dying so much more pleasurable with friendly chats in local afterwards :)

your tactics were dire u had to have full scan setups of all our vessels and the odds had to be 100% in your favor or 2 ECM ships per one of our battleships before you even thought about fighting. we had *** tom cray following us every jump, scanning and just generally being bent.
so dont come on spouting how you'd turn the tide because pound for pound were a tighter unit, and Ground? Nonni is my system i own it you wanna bring it as my corp m8 says bring the war at your expense. 1mill from each of your corps wont sting but no celest do any money making activities.
plus i dont know where u get your KPD ratio stats from but u better sack ure calculator guy.

Sorry it took me late in the thread to add my thanks to the many honorable SE and CA pilots we had the pleasure of exchanging ammo with. When you say kill do you mean destroyed pod or loss of ship? Once again I was never killed. One guy didnt feal like destroying my pod, another guy I warped away from.
