I hear he fits a "Stubborn" Capital Invulnerability Field.
If anyone is 'fit to play EVE' it is Joe, he survived a dose of grief that would have made a herd of elephants ragequit and he is still out there smacking and boasting on a daily basis ... Don't like him so much but still ... props where props are due. I agree with everything Barakkus posts. |

What is true is that you can create a petition for everything. It is also true that most of the game masters are more like answering machines than medical nurses when it comes to petitions. It only has a few good game masters, and they usually only care about bigger issues like alliance wars.
EVE is lacking rules for foul play, like you can find in almost all professional games (not online games, but soccer, football, etc.). CCP has some basic rules for avoiding technical issues like lags and exploits, but none to give the majority of EVE players a better game experience. Therefore will you see only little coming from the GMs, and all that does come from them is their very own initiative as game masters. EVE is an anarchy, which got tolerated and then declared to be the game's concept, because no one has so far cared about introducing one.
It would be awesome if EVE had a rule set that defined a foul play. There is a lot in EVE however that can count as such, from corp jumping, docking games, etc. and all which is acceptable to an extend and unacceptable in the extreme. It also requires looking at the parties involved and not just at what happened. Players who then repeatedly stick out for foul play could get a warning with repeated offences leading to fines payable in ISKs, or even temporary bans from the game. --

Thats not the point. What is happening to me is NOT foul play. IT is LEGIT 100%. I would do the same thing if I was a neck-bearded basement virgin bent on obsession over another player.
That said the corp I am in now has not got war deced yet... So perhaps the problem has resolved itself.

Perhaps the point is that you are the one with the foul play. I did mention corp jumping not without a reason.
Same chance for everyone. --

Horrible ideas in the above post. I mean really, there are plenty of games out there that have the sort of thing you're looking for...If you want a hand-holding rigid game structure, go play guild wars or a single player game...or even (overused, I know) WoW. There are already rules and gameplay mechanics in-place in Eve...people deal with the consequences of their actions already; kill a pod in hisec for example. It even goes so far that what you would call a 'foul play' in WoW or wouldn't even be possible in GW, could be a mini profession in Eve. The only things 'wrong' in Eve IMHO are server-side things like lag, blackscreening, etc.

Kiki Mo, couldn't agree more.
Xen,
I can't wait to pod you.... oh wait, you won't undock while at war with us.....or you swap corperations. what a coward, jeez. Maybe your mom will bail you out next time, she probably fights better and smarter.
the rest of you giving Xen crap, good on you, have you ever seen this troll in pub chat? amazing. Claims to be in college to be a shrink, but proves every day that he/she couldn't handle that line of work. If you can't stop talking smack, because you can't help yourself, and get talked into a corner repetedly..... how could you solve other peoples' problems?
just my 2 cents.

You have some very open ended terms up there.
sole purpose of ruining someone else's gaming experience
This is the risk you take when joining a Player Run Corporation.
without any goal of personal gain
Here you would have to define what someone else thinks is a personal gain. Not everyone plays this game for ISK.
I appreciate the effort. But the solution from CCP would most likely be Join An NPC Corporation.
