I finaly got an important mission since the last patch and I have to say after exodus launch I was very disapointed at getting level 1 important missions from agents 15 hops away. Happily I just finished a level 3 important mission from an agent 15 hops away and the primary faction standing (2.7% Gallente) increase made the trip well worth while. However it's still with a corp I've never worked for and is 15 hops away.. The reward also included station containers of all things  .. But looks like they're working on it and some may hold onto the hope that they'll eventually get important missions from the agent you're currently working for at the station you've made home...

Indeed 15 hops is not fun I don't know who is telling the mission devs it is but they must be one sick fella
They say they play EVE themselves but I begining to think its a lie or they have all gone bonkers, no sane person enjoys a 40 jump mission (15 there 5 to the mission spawn 5 back for reward 15 back to orginal agent)
please make it stop

I have got about 10 storyline missions for L3 agents of different factions.
Every single one has been the Mercenary assasination (commander, wingman + 3x frigs)
crappy reward + bonus every time, at most 14 jumps one way.

You've also been getting nothing but Mercenary Assassination? How strange, I've experienced the same exact thing. I've done 4 or 5 Important Missions for the Minmatar Republic(I don't like to let them pile up. When a storyline agent evemails me, I treat it like being called on the red phone) and every time it's Mercenary Assassination, with an el-cheapo reward.

Today i had one lvl4 important mission 13 jumps away, the targets were 4-5 Mercenary Commanders, 4 Mercenary Wingman and 2 Gist Overlords with a 2.7 standing with the agent's corp and around 400k in rewards. A good mission regardless of the 26 jumps.
Having these missions away from my current agent running location, makes it a good change of scenario, it also promotes mt standing with other corps.

I too am plagued by the Mercenary Assasination mission. Its the only one i ever get.
- Fly 15 jumps to BFE.
- Kill 1 elite Merc and 2 wingmen
done. usually a cra ppy shield transfer array for my bonus.

Also, one of my agents has started to dislike me, from 7.2 post shiva to 6.14 now...even tho all i've done is completed 8k lp worth of them.

I've so far only gotten a Assasination mission as well. Haven't bothered to do it because the reward doesn't look worth the travel time.

presently three mercenary assainations sat in my agent journal rotting away, the only one I had previously having been the same and already rotted.
