Lately I've been getting lag when I dock at a station. The ship just hangs there forever before it docks.
Tonight I also experienced this: I jumped through a gate and...that was it. No scene change or anything. The camera just hung there at the entry gate with my ship gone. It didn't freeze, it just refused to move on. I was in perpetual jump. Had to re-log to get it going again.

Happens to me on occassion.
'Docking permission requested' - session change in progress.
And then sitting there a good 30 seconds.
Same goes for jumping gates (please note these are not gates leading into/coming from highly populated systems). Session change in progress.
Sigh.

I warped to zero to a gate, got lag so I couldn't jump quckly enough as a pirate blew my ship to pieces. Thought about logging a petition but I'd probably won't get my ship back.

Session change timer always was there. Everytime when you log in, swap ships, dock, undock, jump trough gate, eject from ship and etc. a session change happens and you will need to wait 30 seconds.
