I'll just have to 2nd King Rothgars assessment here, and take it that small step further to say that the Orca is THE best designed ship in the whole game when it comes to visual model.
For a sense of realism, as much as that is possible when it comes to spaceships, it beats all others pretty much without contest.
What a ridiculous OP.

I'll third it, and second Mire Stoude's comment about ORE ships in general. While the barges and exhumers doesn't quite have the refinement and finesse of later designs such as the Rorq, Orca and Primae, they still very much look the part: they're lumbering space-borne factories that grind stone into dust. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Tanker
Orca
They both look like big, bulky cargo ships to me, they even have the same bridge style
It was actually mentioned when the Orca was released that it's design was based on a supertanker, including it's bridge style.
Seems like the designers got it right ;)

Originally by: Redoubti I think the Orca looks fine the way it is. It reminds me alot of the carriers from the Wing Commander series. But who knows what the art team that redesigned the Scorp is going to change next?
Oddly, the 'phoon always reminded me of the Victory. Maybe it's just me....

I always thought they ripped off the carrier from "Space and Beyond" Saratoga
