Besides eve is about the only multiplayer game I play past cod4 so I would be a boring friend and the guys I usually run with on the shooter side simply don't get eve on any level or were put off by the non twitch gameplay even if they liked the actual look and concept of the game. Buncha twitch monkeys tbh but good guys none the less and quite colorful to listen to and ** with in comms. Needless to say they just might be the core of my upcoming dust empire as they would definitely relate to an eve based fps that has actual tactics and all the other promised goodies. I got it yesterday too, was waiting for a good time to buy it and 10$ seemed A-Ok in my list. Downloaded, made my avatar and then began playing, went to bed late in the night and I'm about to go in there again for a while Hahaha its fuuun . It's basically us vs Them in a medieval like map. Unless the map has enough space for you to run a horse, be ready for an arrow-fest, so big, you'll believe you are in Sherwood and everybody is wearing green tights. In essence it's counterstrike medieval style with Arrows/2handed axes, sword and shield, lances, horses and Chain Mail Some of the non official maps have about 100 people on them in a crazy battle orgy of doom. As an added bonus you can customize the look of your avatar. Some wicked barbarian style guys out there that go charging in melee nekkid lol and some nasty women warriors too Melee is fast, brutal and unforgiving. Pro tip : kit shields on your setup during setup process. You'll realize why everybody had one back in the day unless they were far far away in the battlefield. --- Viva VENEZUELA!!!
