I said I would be honest so I am not Torrin, Joe etc.
You have to give your crap away because you can't think of a better scam (so really no, no you dont). The reality is, you move a crap ton of modules, faction ammo (and possibly tech II/III ships) etc in either a jump freighter, carrier or blockade runner and build some ships from blueprints when you get there. If your alliance has even a scrap of organisation you can get hold of ships very easily when you get there anyway.
Another option is to cov-ops your way there and then scan out a wormhole link to empire although this is more relevant to skirmish operations.
