Every time I drag one info window into another, making a tabbed window, I permanently lose my back and forward controls for info windows.
Resetting my UI fixes this, but that is not an acceptable solution. It has been this way for months and months through multiple versions of Eve. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

Look, it's not hard to replicate. CCP - buy a Mac and drag one info window into another. Back and forward buttons gone forever. 10 seconds spent. Done. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

In the time it took you to explain that, you could have filed a bug report. I'll do half the work for you by finding the link and posting it here for you:

Thanks for pointing that out, I have filed this into our issue tracking system as a minor usability bug, you may be interested in knowing that this defect is not limited to the Mac client. Due to how small the issue is and how easy it is to work around it may be a while until this gets fixed. In the meantime you may want to use one of these two workarounds instead:
If you know which windows are sharing a stack with the show info window: 1. open a show info window 2. open a window you had stacked with the show info window 3. remove the show info window from the stack 4. mouse over the show info window to see the << >> UI elements
If you don't remember which window was stacked with the show info window: 1. grab the tab of the show info and drag it out of the stack, this is possible even if the show info window is the only open window in that stack 2. mouse over the show info window to see the << >> UI elements ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance

No, you're not following. The back and forward buttons are gone on ALL info windows FOREVER till I either reset settings or delete my settings folder. All I have to do is accidentally forget not to tab a couple get info windows, and I'm screwed FOREVER on ALL info windows till the end of time. It's NOT an easy fix. There is NO easy fix. Unless you count having to reset and redo your UI every damn time an 'easy' fix.
And yes - I AM grumpy. Eve for Mac suffers from this, the in game browser is still stuffed in 1.0.5 (yes, I've cleared the cache), and the stuttering in FPS is still happening in 1.0.5, just as it was in 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1367123&page=1 FYI - the stuttering issue happens in both OSX and Windows XP on my 24" iMac, so it's an Eve bug, not just an Eve for Mac bug. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

I was able to fully reproduce the missing forward/back buttons on every show info window, I was also able to work around it via the methods I described in my previous post. Are you sure you tried out my workaround? If they don't work could you please provide a better step by step process for reproducing the more serious issue you are describing?
Regarding the IGB issue, it is more serious and we are attempting to gather data on it in this thread. It would be of great help if users could post there to help narrow down the issue, as you mentioned it is not cache related but the odd thing is that it doesn't happen for everyone; even on the same build. Things like that are a little hard to track down, especially since there haven't been any changes to the browser code in a while. ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance
