I was in the lag too running missions with my wife. while it was noticeable, it was not game game breaking, nor any worse than any other MMO on the market, or any online game for that matter.
When you say "fanboi" try to picture a fat man doing burlesque with 2 big ass fans that say CCP on one and HTFU on the other. Because that dude is me. |

Wait a second, did you actually just admit that there is lag in empire systems when in another random low-sec system there is a "fleet fight"(whatever player numbers involved that implies)? Lag... in low-sec... in my EVE... unbelievable. On the other hand, so is probably a "fleet fight" in low-sec?
Fleet fights in empire are uncommon. This one had more than 400 pilots. ...
Which low sec was it? Any info about the combatants? Was it FW or Alliances beating each other up? Sorry for Q's but I don't read CAOD
Check the map, sort by ships destroyed, find a lowsec with probably 150-300 dead.
Err, I just did that.. it's hard to find systems in empire with lots of destroyed stuff...

Man, I really must look that dumb, eh? Don't you think I already did that?
And the system I came up with nonetheless was Tama btw.. closer to Kamio and Irjunen than any Solitude Low Sec..
Anyways.. without Navigator or any other Dev saying something it's useless.

Originally by: CCP Explorer There is more code that runs on empire location nodes than on 0.0 location nodes, most notably Crime Watch that keeps track of engagements and security statuses (in low and high sec) and triggers CONCORD responses (in high sec).
That's telling me that you should be ensuring that only lowsec systems are sharing the same nodes, similar to the way that nullsec systems are sharing nodes, since we don't have CONCORD responses in lowsec....just gate and station guns.

The same Crime Watch system that runs Concord runs gate guns and things like GCCs. His point wasn't about seperating null and empire, but that they can fit more null systems on a node because they don't run Crime Watch.
To the guy who I told to look at the map... Well, most people on these forums have a tendency to be stupid and lazy, no offense. It's ok, now I look like an idiot, too.

So what you saying is to fix the lag empire needs to be changed into 0.0?

K, it's been a barely perceptible lag, ever since the Jita fix. Didn't want to say anything cause I wasn't sure if it was lag or me. But yeah now that you mention it, I have been experiencing lag in systems like dodi, rens, stacmon, where I have not experienced lag before. Mind you this isn't the in your face kind of lag, but more of the you really have to be looking for it kinda lag. like a can takes a hair longer than it normally does to open, kind of lag.
