Visit the POS Fuel Manager page.
The POS Fuel Manager program is designed to make refueling your POS easier and remove the need for unwieldly spreadsheets. I only run 1 tower, so I designed it to only work for 1 tower currently, the ability to do multiple will be added later.
This program is intended to be used in conjunction with MyPOS and jEVEAssets.
General Usage:
1. Download the program and unzip to the desired location. 2. Download and install MyPOS. 3. Download and install jEVEAssets. 4. Start up MyPOS and configure a tower, click the "Fill" button on the "Fuel Requirements" tab. This will be used to setup POS Fuel Manager's requirements. 5. In POS Fuel Manager, select the "Requirements" tab and under "Requirements" input the value in "Amount" from MyPOS (next to the interval drop down) and select the interval. Then enter the amounts from the "Fuel Requirements" tab in MyPOS into POS Fuel Manager. 6. Start jEVEAssets and download your current inventory (include price information). 7. Create a filter in jEVEAssets for POS fuel: (the following should be used for the filter)
Enriched Uranium Oxygen Mechanical Parts Coolant Robotics Isotopes Heavy Water Liquid Ozone Charter
8. Click the "Save Filter" button to use this filter to get your current stock. 9. Click File > Export CSV 10. Either select "Current Filter" or load the filter you saved for POS Fuel. Leave everything else the same (including the selected columns). 11. Save the file. 12. Drag the file you exported from jEVEAssets on to the POS Fuel Manager window.
After that is complete you can enter in the amounts that are currently in your tower on the "Requirements" tab of POS Fuel Manager.

Edited by: Barakkus on 29/08/2010 21:44:30 Description of functions:
Requirements Tab:
This is where you enter the amounts from MyPOS required to fill your tower in the section called "Requirements". The amount to use for interval is the number of days calculated by MyPOS that your tower will run when you completely fill it's storage. The dropdown next to interval is the interval type from MyPOS. Each time you enter an amount (press enter after typing the number) the grid will update what is needed for a 30 day supply.
The refueling secion is designed to make refueling easier. Enter in the amounts of each material that is currently in your tower. The grid will update with the amounts to transfer to the storage in your tower based on the information on how much is required to fill your tower from MyPOS. Double clicking an item in the grid will copy the amount to transfer to your tower to the windows clipboard so you can copy and paste it in game.
Inventory Tab:
The "Current Inventory" section displays:
- What you currently have in "In Stock"
- The requirements for 30 days in "Monthly Req"
How many months worth of stock you have for each item in "# of Months"
- The difference in amount required for the minimum number of months you have stock for all items in "Req. Amt Min".
- The difference in amount required for the maximum number of months you have in stock for all items in "Req. Amt Max".
- The current market value of the items based on data from jEVEAssets.
- The total amount it would cost to purchase inventory to make the minimum number of months in stock in "Total Min Month Cost".
- The total amount it would cost to purchase inventory to make the maximum number of months in stock in "Total Max Month Cost".
- Selected will determine whether or not the item is included in the calculation for "Selected Purchase Cost" below the grid
The "Sellable Inventory" section displays the "Current Inventory" information for those items you have a surplus in for either the minimum number of months in stock or the maximum number of months in stock.
Projected Amounts Tab:
This section keeps track of the changes in your stock over a period of time. Select the start date and the end date to see consumption and value of your inventory projected out for the date ranges selected

I found a bit of weirdness in the projections calculations, don't know what I was thinking, but I ended up summing all the materials from loads dumped from jEVEAsset to project consuption instead of just looking at the last load. I fixed that, and I'm planning on putting in multiple tower support this week/weekend, hopefully have a new update out by next weekend that will also download your assets instead of having to use jEVEAssets.
I'm going to try to work in something for loading the current amounts of fuel in your towers from the API instead of having to enter them as well.
I will probably be adding a tower planner to the program over the next 2 weeks so MyPOS won't be necessary.

Edited by: Barakkus on 05/09/2010 18:04:45 New release: Added downloading of POS fuel from API. You need to setup your characters first under File > Manage Characters, then check off the ones you want to download from. It also updates with the average prices from eve-central.com.
It may be a little buggy, if you have problems let me know what the error was and what you were doing.
It will still work with exports from jEVEAssets.
The "Refresh from API" menu item will only be active if you are elligible for an update (asset cache is 24 hours).
The size of the full install is a wee bit larger now since I had to dump invtypes, invcategories, evenames and invgroups tables from the EVE Online data dump and include them to be able to process the data from the API.
