Gave the guide a modest reading.
Only flaw is a non-issue. The author uses SLIGHTLY broken english. Pretty obvious that it is a translation and/or english is the not the author's first language. But FULLY understandable. As stated above, its a non-issue, very minor.
SUPURB on the sort of info a new player would need.
Play nice while you butcher each other.

Wow, just wow. I'm impressed (and it's usually very hard to impress me). Very good work by the team that did this.
Have only read several pages of the manual, it's clear and nicely structured for public reading.
CCP, you have an opportunity here. Don't let this gem pass without at least a serious consideration.
Moving forward, updates might be a small pain though, to keep up with all the expansion changes. |

I love it, this guide has MEAT. I haven't seen a better guide in 6 years.
But it really needs its English language/grammar sorted out as it is quite hard to comprehend in some places. Perhaps one of the UK student EVE-players with lots of spare time could volunteer to polish it up?
Great job Laci you are awesome. CCP, please sticky it and this surely deserves a reward of some sort.

This guide is pure gold. I read it about a week ago and it happened that I just convinced a friend to join EVE. After previously spending vast amounts of time finding and directing him to tons of resources all over the interwebs I ended up handing him this awesomeness. Now he's doing well on his own and EVE isn't so frightening anymore 
CCP, you should really take notes on how a real game guide for new players is done.

Hi
First of all i need to clarify: i never "pushed a donation button to anyone face".
On the page there is a little button (with not too bright colors) and i never asked / forced nobody to use.
So when somebody / anybody "spamming with that", thatĘs wasn't me, and i ask you please: report to me and to the ccp when somebody trying to get money with my name (or with the guide name).

This is a fine body of work and should be downloaded by anyone interested in the game. CCP should pay this man for its official use and allow him to keep the intellectual property of the item.
its also says something about CCP that all of the useful tools you can use with this game are all player generated and none are provided by CCP

Um that's true of any game really. In a certain game we won't mention, user-created addons are considered vastly superior to any tools created by the company we won't mention.

It would be nice if there was a version that didn't have the page border/background image on it. I could then print it out without it:
a) taking 20 years.
b) emptying my ink cartridges.
Otherwise, it looks extremely good.

It's actually amazing to read off of an iPad. iBook app now has PDF viewer, so this guide reads like any other e-book. Already been reading it for several days, and it's quite well written. CCP should endorse it as an official game guide.

Pleasantly surprised.
This is what I expected when I first saw it. Haven't read the whole thing, but skimmed through bits here and there, and really, it's a great guide. Free and good info, especally for new players.
