Right click the <-> keep at range button and you can set a custom default value. You just can't do that with the menu "keep at range".

You can do the same with the "orbit" and "warp" button.
Setting the default warp range to 500m used to prevent the occasional bounce from the gate. Setting it to 2500m is a handy option for covops-cloaked ships. Signed, Pheusia |

I set my Keep at range distance to 1000km, so that "keep at range" is actually the opposite of "approach". Useful for either running away or maintaining zero transversal velocity, while staying at max speed. I never found much use for the "keep at range" function.
Coincidentially, I found out today that you can right-click containers or assembled ships in your assets window and do a "show contents". ___________ EVE is dying! Now for real! |

Yeah, I noticed that a few months ago... However, it only works on stuff *not* in the current station, so you still have to board each ship in the current station to see the contents.
