Executive Summary (i) Station trading of high value low turnover items at Jita (ii) Profitable trading routes
These strategies are working pretty well for me and now I wish to step up my game. I am asking for 1bn isk, min invest is 200mil and max invest is 400mil. 12% return, payable monthly.
Background and Business Plan Located at Jita I have found my niche and buy high value items with at least 20% profit margin and flip them. Turnover is on average 2 per month but it does not require me to play the 0.01 isk game so I do not have to put in much time into it. I usually update the prices every 2nd day which takes me 10 - 15 minutes. I now wish to expand this trading to include other items as well.
Recently I found a profitable high-sec trading route which I would like to develop further with a smaller share of the investment.
Track Record Up until this point all trading has been done by the main, Aicul. The trades can be audited if you so wish and are willing to pay for it.
One of the best trades I did was the Hyposis Signal Distortion Amplier I. A few weeks ago they were not available at Jita so I got them elsewhere for 350k per unit and when sold the bulk of them for 899k at Jita within a few days. If you check price history I believe you can see they peaked at or around 900k a few weeks ago. I do not trade this item any longer.
Risk Assessment Your investment will be backed by tradable assets so you can consider the investment secure as it gets. When I go on a trading route I only move in high security space with secure containers in my industrial hauler and I do not do afk jumping, but of course someone might gank me. However, most of the time all trading will take place in Jita.
Value drop? Unlikely. In a worse case scenario I will sell the item to one of the buy orders and get the money back.
Scam? For 1bn? I think not.
Hit by the bus? I drink a lot of milk so I can take a hit.
Involved parties. Kath Di and the main Aicul to some extent.

Numbers: Volume: 1bn isk Number of shares: 5 Max shares per investor: 2 (please do not use alts for more investment, I would like to build up an investor base for possible future investments) Price per share: 200 mil Dividend payout: monthly Return: 12% monthly Duration: 2 months from the closing date Transfer cash to character: Kath Di How this works: you send cash to Kath Di with reason of investment, I will hold a ledger in Excel.

How did you come up with the 12% return, and why 200 million per share for 5 shares if your goal is building an investor base?
Why not a larger number of shares at a lower buy in rate?
While I do not believe that calling something a scam for no good reason is unhelpful, based on other bond or investment offers on these forums, high minimum buy ins and unusually lucrative returns do seem like potential flags.

If the items on your trade route have even remotely high value, I strongly urge you to utilize courier contracts rather than haul in an industrial. Industrial pop so easily that even just a couple hundred mil is far to much value to haul.

As posted above I am willing to have my previous trades audited and verified, no problem.
Kath Di is about one month old and was created solely for trading and route running, she is on a different account. She is in an NPC corp. Aicul was born in March 2006 but I want to use him for PVP only, doing both trading in high sec and pvp in 0.0 is not ideal as I miss out a lot of PVP action when I clone jump.
En Tomte is a third alt, but I am not using him for anything really.
No bad history with anyone.

I have been lurking the MD forum for a while and considering the low risk of the investments but also the fact I am new to the forum I found 12% p.m. would be something investors could accept given these circumstances. Furthermore 12% ROI is something I can return to investors without much effort, but at the same time leave enough profit for me to buy a plex or two.
Actually I thought 200mil per share was quite low. The reason for 200mil buy-in is I believe it would be a hassle to service 20 clients instead of 5, but your input is duly noted. I will amend my bond offer accordingly.

Talk to the MD Audit fund folks and see if they'd be willing to help you subsidize the cost of a full audit. I think it would go a long way toward helping to get investors if you get an audit.
I don't think it's a scam or anything. But eventually you're going to need to get audits and may as well get used to how it's done now, while you're still new to the process.
An audit never guarantees safety of a bond but it does allow investors to know if you're capable, it also allows an auditor to spot any obvious problems and can often get you valuable advice from the auditor on possible ways to improve your business model.
Think about it.
