It's beautifully laid out but unfortunately some of the translated English fails in its translation, so the thing reads stilted and awkward to a native speaker, and probably indecipherably to anyone else. Its a grand attempt but I suggest getting support from those with more experience of such Guides, Like Akita, next time. Also the pushing of PayPal 'Donations' make me feel this is spam wrapped up as charity. There are great guides around already. Don't try and overwhelm yourself with too much at once. Sure it isn't perfect, or 100% complete, but it offers a wealth of information in one place. Let's face it, no one guide will ever cover everything in EVE.

If you start a thread and post several replies to it, or have just the text available separately, you can paste in the text of the guide (minus the images) there for people like myself to edit for you, which you can either choose to take up or not. As I said, it's a great attempt that falls a little short at present, but I wouldn't want to discourage you from trying. The donation bit was just the prominence of the button on the main page. It has an aura of 'too good to be true' and the button just confirms prejudices. I would suggest moving it to an 'About' page or something, if you must have it. It's definitely a great guide and I wouldn't be surprised if CCP bought the rights to this and improve upon it. A couple of pieces of feedback; The section on mining/manufacturing definitely had alot of grammar issues and as it progressed, it did become more difficult to understand what the author was communicating. Since this is an ebook and people should print it out, I thought you could've gone done away with some of the heavy graphics since that takes up ink from our printers. That maybe too tough to go back and change now, but it's just a thought. I can certainly appreciate the design regardless. But just speaking from a standpoint of functionality. Either way, great work!

One of Eve's CORE strengths is that it IS NOT just one game. A lot of vets only player a few narrow aspects of Eve (and if they are having fun, then they are playing Eve correctly...), so the guide gives good insight on the stuff they don't mess with much. If you don't think that matters, you are wrong. And even when the guide talks of an area where a vet is well versed, it is detailed enough it might offer an insight or two. Play nice while you butcher each other.

Akita T Caldari Caldari Navy Volunteer Task Force	Posted - 2010.09.05 08:04:00 - [22] Ran it through the default//standard settings AdobePro9 PDF optimization cycle and it got reduced to 32.9 MB (win XP default zipped, 30.6 MB)... that's about half the size, and it matters... and can't tell any differences reading on a computer screen at 1600x1200 with 200% zoom, if there are any differences at all they probably only barely show up if you try to print it. I could upload it and post the link in here, but it would probably mess with your "download counter", and you guys probably also have the needed tools to make the exact same optimizations. If you don't, and you want to have full control over the counters too, please let me know, and I'll upload itto evefiles under a nondescript name and send you the link in an evemail or somesuch. _ Beginner's ISK making guide \| Manufacturer's helper \| All about reacting _

After reading it for the first time it mainly gives you a global idea about the game. When learning to play this game you are going to use it to look stuff up (like I am doing now ;))
