Space is full of surprises.
Black holes, quasars, neutron stars, pilsars, comets, binary star systems etc.
Where are they in this game?
Even if they weren't actual objects in game, at least have them in the background graphic.

I don't mean wormholes.
Natural wormholes do not exist, they are an ingame add-on. I'm talking about natural space phenomena known to exist.

The backstory suggests that every system on the jumpgate network is already a binary... so that's an easy one.
Pulsars, Black Holes, Red Giants... as suggested above, wormhole systems can hold such things...
Though I would point out that natural Wormholes are as theoretical, and as yet unproven, as Black Holes... --

Black Holes, pulsars and some other things are effects found in wormholes, exactly as you described them - a graphic in the background, although it also grants a bonus to all ships inside the wormhole (e.g a black hole gives a bonus to speed, while also nerfing range). As for binary systems, iirc, in the backstory there was something about every system in eve being a binary system or something, but i've never looked into it myself
