For agent missions I use:
6 siege, 2 125mm rail II's 1 xl-clarity, 2x hardeners, 1 shield amp, 1 heavy cap injector, 1 cap recharger II 3 pdu II, 2 ballistic dmg mods
Can't afford much named stuff at the moment

Exactly lol. **Even** when taking 150 damage per second after resists (requireing full boosting from the XL CL-5), the Large II + 2 amps combo will outlast the XL Cl-5 Combo. It will be about 2 minutes under this kind of damage before the Large II combo is out of shields, and even then it has full boosting capability while the armor is going down as well. The XL CL-5 combo at full boost will lose cap and die long before that happens.
XL CL-5 is better when taking massive damage though, like 250 points per second after resistances. But I just dont get that kind of damage rate from nomral spawns. Maybe I would from officer spawns (and that's just a guess, I've never actually seen an officer spawn )
Proof that sometimes the official loadout bible is just wrong.

works when fighting cruisers, in a fight which includes you being a target your cap will go poof..
