I have the need to play 3 accounts simultaneously on my laptop, and usually did just fine (not splendid but manageable), but after reinstalling my window vista, running 3 accounts get really sluggish, i dont know if my comp lost something in the reinstalling process, i'm not a computer expert anyway, and in some situations that require quick responses like against sleeper, a long moment of switching between windows could cost me dearly.
I've tried to update drivers, tips, ect... but still not look promising.
So can someone please help me with your experience?

did the ingame settings change? like use high cache, or shadows enabled? on some machines just a few settings changed can make a pretty big difference. (thought off the top of my head, I'm no computer expert either)

Yes, i always set all to minimum whenever i do triple boxing, yet now it is getting sluggish.

Build a mid range desktop PC. Motherboards, ram and gfx cards are really cheap these days. Run 2 accounts on that and run a 3rd macro ratter/miner on the laptop.

This is what I do to get better performance out of my Windows Cista installation:
Turn off the Windows sidebar, it consumes far too much CPU & GPU.
Turn off transparent glass effect in Performance Options control panel dialog.

Add more ram if possible, or you picked up a virus when you reformated. Also did you get all the service packs for vista? sometimes you have to force it to update.

Well, we all know that getting alt in eve is a necessity, triple boxing is still more manageable than relying of friends, especially when they are not present.

Well it sounds like you are not running in windowed mode. It will probably make the game take up more memory though, so I'm not sure that is going to fix it for you or not. However, windowed mode will not have the delay you are speaking of. I personally run in a smaller resolution than my monitor's native, so that I can see the whole window, and lower all settings. Eve's windowed mode sucks if it's set to normal size...but if you make it smaller it often does the trick, would depend on your screen.
