What happened? You guys were fighting and owning in a big love circle with Evoke. Now Dead Terrorists are trying to kill your caps in low sec?

We were working with a 3rd party to bridge onto another 3rd party and gank some caps. NC. was working with the other 3rd party to gank the 3rd party we were working with. Overview bug occurred bigtime, and NC. saw 100 neutral bs bridge onto their caps. They understandably started raping us. Due to comms issue they continued to do this for the next 5 minutes.

soho been talkn with some of his friends or som1 that contacted us the same old 'nc hsot our tower come help kill them' so the last couple days he been setting it up,we form up at the time with 20ish moms and 30ish+ carriers not knowing if the handful of caps we expected to show up would turn into something worthwhile so..........
gang we workn with brought in their bait caps 3-4 nc caps jumped in we jumped our caps another cyno goes up and overview fills with hics/bs gang we killed any caps outside the tower out of rage/fear kinda deal then start working on the bs gang
complete cluster **** cuz ccp would rather put us on top of plantes then fix their game....<3 my dt's brosifs and sorry for the losses :(

in order to find our equals in battle, we have been forced to fight ourselves :P
pretty much what the guys above have said, we formed in CR bs etc to go kill some caps which we had intel would be attacking a pos.
seems DOOM / NC had the same idea, but from the other side.
so we were going to kill the guys they were working with, and us visa versa. given the respective levels of secrecy that these things are planned under, of.c neither side was aware of the others intentions.
we jump bridged to the target pos, my overview (sorted to show only caps) showed several supercaps and a shed load of normal caps, however some had blue icons (overview was set to hide all blues and show only neuts / reds). the question was asked on comms re. the blues, and quickly confirmed that they were doom and not to agress them. we proceded to kill the neuts, not really knowing what was going on, when i was redboxed and neuted by several of the blue supers / carriers.
quick convo's were exchanged to try and get things sorted out, but (understandably imho) the doom super pilots, who saw us as neutrals, were not in the frame of mind to look at chat windows at the time. eventually the message got through and the confusion was sorted. too late for me and several other DT members, but it could have been worse, at least we didnt deploy caps :)
muchos ♥ to doom and other allies who were there, just hope next time we are shooting at the same guys ;)

These things happen.
For every few thousand we kill a couple of dozen losses are to be expected even if they are down to allies subjected to CCP's bad sense of humour [the titan bridge standing bug].
