PLEASE Redesign the moa... it is by far the ugliest ship in this game.
(ofc you ignore the minmitar ships cause when u fly minmitar you sign a forum waving your right to complain)
i was thinking along the lines of cutting off the back thrusters and adding the extension on the right side of the moa to the left, and removing the left half.
Essentially symmetric using right half as a base.
Please CCP, you did a great job with the scorpion... dont let me down.
10mil isk to person who posts 7 posts before the first complaint about lag.

Nah, I dunno. They said they are going to go through and redesign a great many ships just like they started with the Scorpion. Judging by the feedback I'm sure they'll get around to it, I just hope they do it fairly.
Don't JUST start with Caldari, I mean. Cycle through the different races at an even pace so you don't leave anyone waiting for updated graphics for a year or so.

ya, no doubt several ships need work, but caldari has some of the ugliest. And since the moa is used in the eagle (although this ship is less popular) and the gila... and its just a joke.
Most of the amarr ships i think look pretty cool, and the gallente ones are ok, ya some look cool.
The reason i ignore minmitar is cause thier ships are look like crap for a reason. and because they have the rifter and mealstrom, 2 of the most sexiest things ever

A year? It's going to take them longer than that. Creating a design that will appeal to most is a hard job. Hopefully in a year we'll see a new one upgraded like the Scorpion.
It's somewhat an empty discussion (no offence to the original poster) because tastes trully vary. I personally dislike the Thorax however I know a lot of people who love the design and wouldn't fly anything else. Quite a few people find Gila attractive. And there was an uprising when Scorpion get remade because people wanted the old model kept. |

Did you ever see the orginal scythe? Ugliest ship ever. Completely pointless design. Not quite sure what's up with the typhoon either, but it's better then it used to be. Some people seem to like it for some reason.
Not every ship has to be symmetrical, but at least make up a reason for it if a ship isn't. I'm not sure what's up with the Moa but there could an advantaged to be gained from such a configuration. I've no idea what, but there could be. Asymmetery doesn't automatically mean ugly, but the orginal ship designers seemed obsessed with it to say the least. They seemed to have just random lop-sided bits on wherever they could, just because.
Look at the Coercer. Aside from the bridge or whatever being on one side (which is fine), every single thruster in the rear is different. Why? This would needlessly increase production cost and complicate maintenance. A real ship designer would try to use uniform propulsion systems so that they could be swapped out easily and parts could be interchanged. It's a whole lot easier to mass produce one thruster type that gets used multiple times on each ship instead of half a dozen different designs for one ship. Sure the ships are pure sci-fi anyway, but at least throw some logic in there.

i was actualy thinking about the raven being in desperate need of a re-design as it is probably the oldest ship in the game lol.
just make it less 'boxy' as it doesn't look feirce enough to spew out torpedoes like it does.
