The only two I truely miss are the micro cap battery and the micro cap booster. Granted I still have a decent supply in my junk hanger but one day it will run out.

My memory, which is imperfect, is that the patch notes upon removal consisted of a vague statement that they were removed due to them not being used very much. It didn't make much sense at the time, and never was adequately explained. ------------------ Ironfleet.com |

Well, if most people fit frigates with MEDIUM shield extenders, I can't imagine what people fit with small shield extenders, much less..... micro ones?

Seems to be the trend with CCP..if it's not used much, out it goes.
Screw the minority of users using it.

Whats Lo-Sec? Is it anything like that empty strip of space I use to get to 0.0?

MAPCs are fairly commonly used.
I dont think its even possible to fit a neutronranis without one...

Especially since MAPC gives a more power grid to a frigate sized ship than RCU

uh, MAPC isnt a micro sized module. Theres no 'small aux power core', or 'medium... you get the point.
Micro cap boosters were useful on some ceptors pre-boost (cap use on points) due to their fitting, similarly to micro boosters or other stuff.
