Not true. I've been the direct travel path between point A and B. I've seen people appear on the overview for a split second
He was not saying that pilots that are in your path do not show up on your overview. He was saying that if you are sitting cloaked between two celestials and someone warps over you (this is where the ship would pop up on the overview of the warping ship if the sitting ship was not cloaked), the warping ship will not uncloak the ship sitting in the warp path.

Everytime a mission runner makes 80mill an hour someone gets decloaked or a kitten dies
And real PvPers just poop their pants and keep fighting
The solution here is nerf long craps, too much time for too little reward.
