EagleFour	Posted - 2004.12.29 11:25:00 - [1] to all the noobs out there, i too was a carebear who wouldnt risk a BS. Thus i got my bounty attacking BS's with a cruiser flight. Well i got bored and decided to risk my uninsured raven attacking some miners in an undisclosed system. They were being gaurded by a typhoon BS (Minmatar space marines) i think 2 barges with the typhoon i had about 25% structure left when i warped out and ZERO cap. I have not engaged in player PvP with a battleship vs battleship, and made many mistakes while gaining lots of experience. The typhoon handed me my arse. I didnt lose the ship but since i couldnt warp to the gates because of security i chatted up with the guys and compared logs. That was the single most fun i have had in this game. Even if i got whooped it was great to sit and talk about the battle with the guy i tried to gank and get tips on how to better my approach and set up. Battleships are worth risking - the fun is enormous. hats off to space marines for being good sports and kicking my tail. mistakes i made for the noobs Shield tanked a raven Warped in 12km carrying tungsten ammo Had 3 425 4 Seige and 1 Rocket launcher for defenders shoulda had an extra Missle launcher Defenders saved my butt forgot to activate tracking enhancers forgot to shut down shield booster Forgot to set autorepeat on missle launchers. i was winning up until the point i had to sheild boost then i messed up. Im sure the more experienced pvpers are laughing now but hey its all fun. JOBS - Got Moin?

EagleFour	Posted - 2004.12.29 11:35:00 - [5] well its uninsured but i got backups :) i built that one by myself in 6 days. was a record for me :) my backups are for mining 2 apocs and an arma i stop pvp when i have to build another. JOBS - Got Moin?
