Installed the game a couple minutes ago. Started up and it was a bit laggy (no prob changed the settings to medium, restarted) Game starts up and black screen with music. I went to task manager and it said eve wasn't responding (first time thats happened to me ive been playing off an on for two years now) So tried to start in safe mode and no luck, ran as admin no luck.
Reinstalling now. |

UPDATE
Reinstalled and got in game. Tried to lower settings once again and after restarting to apply the settings it no longer started up and the game crashed once again. I attempted to use the eve repair tool, cleared out my cache's, and made sure I wasnt using up to much memory. Tried again and still no luck. Im reinstalling once again but im not messing with the settings until I can figure out what to do.

UPDATE 2
After another two hours of working on this I was able to localize the problem to the shader system. Heres what happened.
I was able to centralize the problem to the shader settings. I deleted the cache started up and changed my shader settings which seconds later caused the game to crash I cant get to the log in screen without crashing yet.
I lowered shaders to eliminate a graphics problem I would get where ships were strangely colored (my ship was pink and black where light and shadow were supposed to be and other ships were strangely colored.)
I cant really figure out what to do past this point though.

Wish there was cause I have just rebooted my whole system and downloaded all the latest drivers etc and now EVE won't work on me :(
