Hi,
since deployment of said patch, my client crashes about 1/4 of the times I ran EVE. Most times when dropping out of warp at a gate, time from log in to crash varies. MPB i7 under Snow Leopard 10.6.4.
Anybody seen similar problem(s)?

Then get crashed half of tries.
Probably the god is dead so he doesn't listen me

This is happening to lots of us. As a matter of fact, it's become a game breaker, for me. I've been laying for over 2 1/2 years now and have been patiently waiting for improvement in the client. The last two expansions have really put the Mac client in the sewer as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, enough ranting. I'm outta here. And, NO you can't have my stuff. I've already liquidated it and given the isk to a friend with a PC.

There you go CCP, lost business due to a poor product. The rule of thumb is that for every person who complains there are 60 more who feel the same way but do not complain. So 60 people x $15 a month x 12 months a year is $10,800 a year, just based on this one post. How many others if we combed the forums?

I'm getting something similar. Trying to quit out of Eve and my client randomly/intermittently freezes. Have to hard shutdown to get out of it. Just figured out how to go to windowed mode so next time it happens maybe I'll be able to counteract the freeze by shutting down from desktop?

I started filing a dedicated bug report for any single crash I do encounter. I'd say it manifests itself in about 3% of jumps. So for any 30 jumps done, there's a crash. Don't pin me on the number. Having to restart a client three times per "traveling play day" is not pleasing.
I had my latest bugreports filtered, reporting crashes after stargate jumping "because i did not add a system profile file.". Crashes after stargate jumping happen since more than three months now and they didn't even get acknowledged yet! I believe they got introduced with the patch introducing the interceptive "white noise" sound nerf.
I'm pretty sure these days the BH folks are part of our problem as they hide crashes away from the developers.
Things happening at random can't be reproduced 100%. Bureaucratic *******s following strict order to filter everything which comes without ways to reproduce are part of the reason problems do get underestimated, as there is no proper way of escalating stuff as there is no easy way to blame nor rate BH folks for lousy volunteer work.
I'm not saying every BH is an *******. But I'm saying some of them seriously fail coping with and reporting of important stuff. The tools they got at hand is another problem. Those tools lack. If you have to filter stuff as a means to ask bugreporter to provide you with more feedback, your tools are lacking big time.
No more money for CCP. And I for sure will remember Island as the source of things. It's inhospitality at its best.

Certainly more crashy than before since Tyranis 1.05. RELIABLY freezing when quitting (ctrl-Q OR via menu) IF you have recently gone through a gate or entered a station of fleet. I wonder if its something to do with quitting before all the background stuff for changing state has completed. This of course could be a symptom of the crashes on a gate jump too tho mercifully havent had that one (much). May also be a memory issue. imac, core2 duo, 2GB - usually crashes on quit MBPro, i7 8GB never crashes. Smells like a memory cleanup/leak issue?

I have only crashed the client once or twice in the past nine months of play, UNTIL this last patch. Now I crash after 30 or so jumps each time I play (as reported by someone else). Hope they fix it.
Also, the client freezes on me upon quitting the app. There's an easy fix for me, though. Force quit via Command-Option-Esc if frozen. No reboot necessary.

The crashes have been plaguing me as well, mostly in long combats involving many ships (happens on 2 different Macs consistently). It's really frustrating to have months of time invested in drones as my primary goal only to lose millions of ISK in dead drones every time it crashes. Drones need to AFK warp away with me and not stand there waiting to be blow to bits when my client crashes.
