Can anyone confirm that the mining and astro skills actualy applies to the modulated dcm laser ?
they used to apply to the basic dcm laser but that was removed in the patch when the cruisers got there 2nd bonus (effectively preventing the osprey beeing 12.5% better at dcm mining than an apoc) - so on the one hand I cant see why it would apply to the "improved version" - on the other hand they might just apply ;-) Anyone know for sure ?

Little update:
Unfortunatly I'm not able to put any miners on the market as I have so many orders that there is 4 day waiting queue.
I also don't see much change in this, as I've been contacted by a corp who wants to buy all that I can make.
Anyways if someone needs them evemail me with amount and I'll give an ETA on their production.
BTW price is still 10M (tho I'm tempted to rise it, as others are selling them at higher prices  )

Due to v. high demand and people buying my miners and then reselling them on the markets for much higher prices Ive decided to rise my price to 14M. 
People who ordered from me till now and are still waiting will get their miners at the old price.
Also Im off for a short vacation and be will back after the 2nd.

Little bit info on mDCM's + crystals.
With a help of my friend (who had the proper skills to test miners and crystals) I now know how tech1 crystals work.
The yield of mDCM's + tech1 crystals is 12% more than those of miners II's (tested, not calculated). It's not much if you mine lowends, but its quite sweet if you mine bistot or other highend.
Example calculation using Apoc (8 mDCM's mounted):
Each mDCM will mine 1 unit of bistot more each minute than miner II. If you sell it for 9k you'll get 72k more profit each minute (from all 8 lasers), thats about 4.3M more profit each hour.
But there is a small drawback tech1 - crystal lasts only about 5h's.
Atm don't have tech2 crystals available to test them so can't say how they are diffrent.
Oh and did I mention that there is new batch of 27 mDCM's waiting on market in Amarr?

Hi,
well... dont get caught by rounding errors of some kind.. the tech1 crystals make it a 8% better miner than a miner2.. not 12... and its 16% in total with tech2 crystals.
these are calculated and confirmed values, at least based on a perfect miner.
dont get me wrong.. it's really not that much of a difference.. but noticably increases the time needed to make a purchase pay off for all those who cant mine just the rarest ore with it ;)
anyway, regardless of so called price vs. demand issues (geez, everyone is asking stupid prices as long as things are new in the game, dont make it something special ;) ), if you ever sell them at a "reasonable" price again (10mil and below at least) in decent batches evemail me and we'll take a few dozen most likely ;)

it is 8.75% over miner2 for t1 crystals and 17.5% for t2 (tested exactly)
Mercoxit is a little different. T1 offers 125% yeild rather than 162.5% and t2 offers 137%.
They are NOT best fitted for Mercoxit without the crystal.
Crystals are bugged. They do not Break with use.
On test center, they do break, but the breakage time has been increased, so that tech1 crystals take on average 10 hours and tech2 5 hours.
