Perhaps its because I've played EVE for so long that I've forgotten what it's like to play with 12 year olds.
Over the past few weeks I've been playing WoT and the amount of times I've seen the "SCREEN SHOT TAKEN YOU WILL BE BANNED" (even though they usually say BAND which is hilarious) fly across the screen for one reason or another is astounding. Prime example, I'm in my SPG, head over to a hiding spot behind a house and hang out. A battle of wits ensues with teammates because someone doesn't know how to play a heavy tank but the guy in a light tank does and they go back and forth.
After the light tank wins the battle of wits, he then scores the last hit on his teammates heavy to prove whatever point and internet rage ensues. Then the ban this and that starts flying like ***** on a fan.
I simply say lol then the light tank starts ramming me while I'm trying to shoot the other team. I give him once chance and ask him to stop, then turn my gun on him, and blow him up. This increases the amount of nerd rage by over 9000. Next thing I know he tells me he just screen shot me and I'll be banned.
In EVE, I enjoy being a pirate because I enjoy the lawls of blowing people up and getting raging emails and convo's in local or private. For whatever reason, when people start screaming ban ban ban in another game, I feel like I just ate some bad Indian food and feel the urge to rush to the bathroom.
WoT has a community that just seems like some uptight 12 year olds with this whole ehonor about who goes first down a road, or who gets the last hit. Kill stealing is a HUGE deal and will really get people raging. I've had the entire team try to blow me up because I just happened to get the last hit on a heavy tank in my SPG that had 32% left.
I'll end my rant with saying as fun as the game is, the community wants to make me puke. I've been debating closing my WoT account in EVE style, and want to know what you think. Should I teamkill as many people as possible to return the deuchebaggery that they have shown me until I'm banned? Or should I simply leave? Unfortunately there's no corporation wallet to take :(

Makes them even more mad when you steal a kill by ramming it with your light tank... a leopard works best

While some of the community are douchebags, the developers are actually pretty awesome.
I accidentally teamkilled a guy in a leopard, with a Churchill of all things. I was firing on an IS-3 and he drove right into my line of fire, with his rear armor exposed right as I was finishing reloading. I one shotted the guy and he started raging. Everyone was laughing at him.
He got me banned for a week for teamkilling. I emailed support and within a couple of hours I was back up and running after explaining the situation.

Afaik only if it's something you do regularly, i.e. you've been repeteadly reported by several people for intentional killing of team mate(s). Otherwise, team kills as result of friendly fire accidents during the battle may happen and they are not penalized (speaking from personal experience).
Oh, and community is fine for one F2P game.

everyone seems to be *****ing and moaning about SPG's.. which is fine, as ive decided to drive them.
Though for all the talk of them being OP, (And there is alot of talk), i sure have been killed an awful lot within a minute because of a tank that rushed across the map that the rest of the team ignored/let pass

WoT community is a bit messed up, reading the forums and seeing what people give +/- karma for is lolsworthy.
the whole bans for tking thing is messed up too.
I have a Hummel, Maus, Leopard, and a vk3601, and prewipe played up to the panther, I'm pretty much burned out of the game at this point.

I find the best trolling is actually driving an SPG.
T6 can one-shot T8 heavies from side/rear, rage ensues.
