firstly lols 
Secondly you have 2 options > 1 Pod yourself back to your clone or 2 Keep D-Scan open and as soon as you ship in local as if htey can show you the exit and hope they are nice :)
apart from that. lols

Can't combat scanner probes also find other things such as wormholes and sites ?

Yes but they only go down to .5 au insted of .25

You might want to post the w-space system name on the hopes that if someone enters it and know's you're there, they can offer you a quick death.....er....I mean a way out.

I only tend to use combat probes in wh's as they find pos'es ship's and sig's and never failed to find a sig yet.
