I've just found my first shattered planet in a WH, said to myself wtf is a shattered planet, read up some info on it and found out there are a couple of them in wh's that's it.
System is occupied but seems to be a semi inactive corp as there's lots of anoms.
Tried to veiw in planet mode, not able to do so...
WTF are these planets for? As far as I can see there is nothing you can do with them. Just a site seeing thing or what?

Some of the highsec ones are storyline related, i.e. Seyllin I, but many are just to look at. So far the w-space ones are just scenery but they may have something to do with future storyline developments. CCP have said that everything in w-space is there for a reason.

Yeah, eye candy mainly.
As for the storyline about shattered planets in w-space, maybe that's part of the reason the sleepers woke up?
I know the story about Dagan with the sleeper and the destruction of his ship which the SOE Epic Arc is based on. It still doesn't explain how they were found or why they woke up.

I once found the Efyakojhukamathingemebob planet in a WH. Unique planet named after Iceland's latest causer of bowel problems.
