Actually, more like 3-5 days left. 24 hours isn't really much of a preemptive notification.
I can't find my original post, however here is the post via eve-search (<3 Chibbra)

Wow Trebor, nice post! Very informative and thanks to the active and visible CSM members for their hard work. Emphasis, my own.
For anyone who wishes to complain about Hybrid/Blaster changes not making it into the list, if you would please direct your attention to the FAILED CSM VOTE. The proposal rejection was nearly-unanimous. I would recommend drafting a new proposal via the Assembly Hall.
Question for you Trebor: Do you think that the CSM might do another crowdsourcing after the October summit? Warmly, "The Bear" JW

What would be the point of that? CCP obviously isn't interested in devoting the resources to fixing any but the most trivial problems, and that will go double for the Summer '11 expansion compared to this upcoming one. WoD Alpha >>>> internet spaceships. |

Getting some feedback on how useful it was, and how it might be improved, is on my to-do list. Based on the response (or lack thereof) we'll decide how to proceed.

The rejection was for the simple reason that the proposal didn't contain any content. Go read it, there is no content besides, "fix hybrid weapons."
A better proposal would take the discussion from the Blasters 2.0 thread and write it up as a formal proposal to the CSM. That would get my vote in the next wave of group review (or "crowdsourcing").
And Trebor, crowdsourcing is awesome even if only as a means of providing the populace with bread and circuses :)

There were better posts for rails and blasters, as you point out. CSM did respond by saying "CCP said they are aware of the situation already" and it was kinda left in CCP's hands to sort out hybrids. A good fix would likely be something more radical than messing with range or dps. An example is how they turned projectiles from worst in the game to a good weapon, ignoring the "more range, more dps" clamor from projectile users on the forums.
Train lasers or projectiles and they'll get to hybrids eventually. I've trained up both while waiting for hybrids, so I can patiently wait for hybrids to be worth using (compared to alternatives) again.
This signature is useless, but it is red.

Useless bump on a sticky thread (grin).
Just updated the list to include the latest progress, including a bonus item.
Bonus: Add faction, deadspace and officer icons (CSM)
Please let me know if you see "completed" items appear on SiSi.

"Should: As a Player, I see a difference between the MWD and afterburner icons, so that I can tell the difference."
It's implemented on SiSi. MWD now have a glow around the sprite and they can be easily distinguished.

Too lazy to read all the posts to see if you have this update, but the market for ships has been simplified for ship types.
These changes include advanced ships too (woot!!).
One bug that I do not like is that the item review page (right hand side) resets to the top every time you interact with a direct buy... Very annoying!

I would also like to see the groups window hold its position when you go to buy an item with the list instead of taking a chance on getting overcharged with the buy button in the group window. |

I checked and you are correct -- there was a communications glitch.
This item has been completed, and if it is not on SiSi it will be soon. It is scheduled to go live with the full Incursion release in January.

I guess you cant take the last one off the list until you have new forums that make the old ones archivable or are you talking about something else. It has been stated that the old forums will remain available but with no added features. Once the 18th hits you can update the list.

I entirely agree. I hope they appear on the backlogs for June, and I've poked people about them. The T3 refit is an important fix for WH residents.
There will be some news coming out about upcoming fixes in the reasonably near future, I hope.

Dear CSM,
I see nothing in here about a (rather persistent) rumor I heard about the CSM wanting wrecks to become probeable. I even filed a proposal against it.
If the CSM has any such plans, where can I read about them? --

Dear csm
i don't understand the way you voted on hybrids. Do you feel csm can only vote yes to concrete proposals? Why can you not vote to demand ccp develop a solution? Is it fair to put the responsibility of balance square in the hands of the community. i think ccp should do what we pay them for, and that is to develop.
Csm you overrate your own importance of you think your only job is to present ccp with ready made solutions. it is negligent to ignore the persistent cries of a wide player base who recognise the hybrid issue!
