Ok so there are 2500 WH systems (i think) and so far i find posses in all that i have scanned out. I know that i only been in a fraction of the whole WH pie but still makes me wonder how many unhabited WH's are still out there?
any thoughts on this subject and if somebody finds a c3 wormhole wich has not yet have a POS in it pls e-mail me we could work something out =) |

I've seen plenty of empty WHs in my travels. Now granted, I tend to focus on hi sec WHs, which mean Class 1 and Class 2s, still they do exist.
Also, just because there is a POS doesn't mean the WH is in use or heavily occupied. I've seen a WH POS setup by a corp with 4 members. It seemed the POS was a bunch of industrial alts focusing on reactions. They logged in, shuffled reactions around, and logged out, leaving the sites untouched.
In other cases, I've found abandoned POSes, waiting to be plundered. Always makes sure your directional scanner includes towers and force fields. Then, if you ever see a tower and no force field, hunt that tower down!

Scan in lowsec - I find multiple uninhabited C3s every week while looking for targets. Signature removed. |

If you're scanning from highsec you're very likely to find the majority have POS simply because of the K162 mechanic. Somebody scanned from within to spawn the highsec side, so chances are high that wormhole is populated.
Go either to lowsec or else place an alt in a wormhole that has a static to the type of wormhole you desire and log the alt in to scan & check that static daily. You'll be surprised how many are empty.

There's people regularly selling WHs, see the Sell Orders subforum. It's easy to base in a w-space system with a e.g. static c3 and close it in minutes to try & find an empty one with a good effect to move into/park an alt in. |

There are tons of them still uninhabited.

Yes they're out there but they are getting harder to find from empire. You have to realize that the majority of wh's opening to empire and nullsec are c1 & c2's. Hence they are the most colonize because they are the most noticeable although there are other factors.
If you want to find uninhabited wh's the trick is to get in one, inhabited or not, and find an exit to another wh and then another and so forth. From within a wh you're more likely to find uninhabited wh's.

Try looking in lowsec (0.1-0.4). Easily 50% of C3s have U210 wormholes as their static exit type.

Although most friendly run-of-the-mill carebear corps would not consider this, yes! When we moved into our home there was an online large tower at one of the outer planets. We observed the system for a week, and after a whole week with no activity from them we just moved in and usurped them.
Only after we had been there for a few months, with absolutely no activity from the other POS in system, one of us discovered that their tower was not configured to respond to aggression. We incapped the guns and started pounding on it with AFK pulse abaddons, eventually reinforcing it after a few days. Only then did they actually log on to move some ships out.
They kept their CEO alt in the system for 6-8 months before finally moving it out to some system in Fountain, we've never been contacted by then nor did we directly fight any of them.
Short story: If you outnumber them, and their defenses are lax, just give em' the boot.

Ive found one empty C2 just 2 days ago, went in solo to shoot a sleeper or two. When I core scanned it with 2 probes -> half of my system map was covered in green dots (anoms) and every probe "saw" like 5 different sigs.
Meaning - noone has been there in quite a while...
Hope that answers your question. I guess WHs with static hisec hole are most popular due to a need of selling stuff to make any profit. I betya that you wont find uninhabited WH near Jita (and 10 jumps from it).
But if you go some obscure 0sec or dangerous lowsec - you will find plenty not touched for weeks

I would suggest going to a region where not many people live and get everything ready to move into a WH. Then everyday, scan through your systems until you find what you are looking for. That generally means no where in Caldari space. I was lucky and found mine in Black Rise, though so your mileage may vary.
Anything with a High sec static is gold as it gives you ample opportunity to refuel and sell your goods cheaply. A properly set-up dual accounts can easily pay for themselves with a proper WH set-up. Any sigs or anomalies are just icing on the cake. I like my Ice planet, but I'd still like a Plasma or Storm one too. I've had your same problem when another WH opens in mine and it's already occupied.
