Strichs Liquidity Service proudly presents the fastest Lottery ever been seen in Eve. Their is only one single ticket! And only you decide how good your odds should be. Maybe you want 50:50 or 70:30? No Problem, its your choice!
Getting interested? The Rules:
- There is only one ticket for each price.
- You choose, how many ISK you would like to spend. The amount of ISK you'll send to me, will define your chance to win for this price. The maximum amount of ISK you could spend for a single price could not be higher then the maximum value of this price (next rule)
- Every price has its own maximum value.
For example: Price: Ishtar maximum value 120.000.000
- The ammount of ISK you'll send, define the chance to win.
For example: you send 30.000.000 Isk for the previous Ishtar. Then your chance to win is: 120.000.000 : 30.000.000 = 0.25 or 1/4 or 25%.
- As soon as I received the isk, I will create a dice with you name at "Chribbas Dice" and send you the link.
In the given example, i would create a dice with four sides (or is it "faces" ^^?)
The winning numbers always starts with the "one" on the dice. If you want a 50:50 chance to win I would create a two-sided dice an the winning number would be the "one". If you wish to have a 70:30 chance to win, i would create a 10 sided dice, and the winning numbers would be "one" till "seven".
For example follow this link.
Last example: You would like to have a 1% chance to win, then i would create a 100 sided dice and the winning number is again the one.
If I make any mistake, creating the dice (wrong chance, or something like this) it would be locked down forever and I create a new one. In case of other mistakes (when it is to late. e.g. i created the wrong chance to win without mention it) I refund the ISK
- To keep things simple it would be nice if you choose your chance to win out of a range from 0,1% to 100%.
You can calculate the ISK needed for your desired chance to win as follows (example still the Ishtar from above): 120.000.000 * 0,01 = 1.200.000 (for a 1% chance)
120.000.000 * 0,1 = 12.000.000 (10% chance)
120.000.000 * 0,5 = 60.000.000 (50% chance)
120.000.000 * 0,8 = 96.000.000 (80% chance)
- You will find the prices in the second post. As long as they could be found there, you can try to win them. If my stock is depleted, I will tell this in time in this thread. If there are still some isk submitted, I will refund them.
- For example: To purchase a ticket for the given Ishtar: send 12.000.000 Isk with the reason: 10% Ishtar for a 10% chance to win or
send 60.000.000 Isk with the reason: 50% Ishtar for a 50% chance to win or
send 96.000.000 Isk with the reason: 80% Ishtar for a 80% chance to win
Security issues
You will ask yourself, which 3rd Party I'm going to use. The answer is simple: no one.
Surely not because I'm dumb and arrogant.
Simply for the following two reasons:
First one: The risk is minimal. For example: you can try this with "low-cost" prices, as the dominix you will see. So you have to send "only" 22,5 M isk (at the beginning) to prove my word.
Second and for me the most important one: I'm running a financial service in the biggest german eve online forum (follow the link in my signature) I handled over 8 bill ISK (not that much I know ^^)without one got lost.
If I would scam here, it would be the end of this service and this lotterie that is also running in the german forum (could be found here: http://www.eveger.de/forum/showthread.php?t=33700) since some days with some winners already.
So if you're still in doubt maybe you have a friend or a corpmate that could prove, what I wrote by translating it for you.

Compared to a normal lotterie with 80 tickets for 10 M isk = 1 out of 80, this is a better chance, and you do not have to wait. You will know immediately if you have won or not.

If someone would have send this amount of ISK I would refund the 2.5 M Isk.
(the other way would be handled as follows: If the example is wrong in the way that it would show a value below the calculated price (e.g: the Cyna example would show 145 M Isk), then I would run the lottery for this amount. There should be no disadvantage for the participants.

Im loving the RoadRunner idea and was going to register But you do need to update your prices on the % chances : P
I noticed for a raven with 90% chance of winning is over the sell orders in jita and the vaga 90% chance is only 3.5 mil under the lowest sell order : P I honestly dont think people are going to take them odds mate :P

Imagine the base value of the ships would be linked to the Sell Orders, then i wouldn't do any profit.
For Example i get a Vaga in Jita for 125 M Isk. If i set up the base value to 125 M isk and everyone is playing a 50% chance all the time, then there would be no profit. after, lets say, 2000 games, there would be 1000 winners and 1000 loosers. the winners would have payed 67,5 M isk (67,5 bil) and would have received 125 bil isk. So in total i have -67,5 bil isk.
the 1000 looser would have lost exactly 67,5 bil isk.
After 1000 games I wouldn't have done any profit.
Thats why the basevalue is always higher than the price costs.
And if you over think the whole thing, this is in every lottery the same. If you sum up the 50:50 odds other Lotteries provide, or if you look that there are 2000 tickets (10 M each) at some SC lotteries you see that this is normal.

My estimated win is 1,745,987,000.00 ISK and what I have on my wallte after I subtracted every price I payed out: 1,626,175,000.00 ISK.
So I am a little bit behind the estimated win.
Some hints for playing on my lottery:
If you see that the tickets costs to much in relation to a ship you found in Jita, than just redeposit the ISK you won or redeem a pay out.
If you see that the items are much more worth than a ticket than redeem the ship.
And another hint: the people with the most ISK won, are those who do not play 10 % chances. Playing 50% Chance on a Rattlesnake win and take the money could be more effective than play 10 % chances.
I do the profit because I always win a little bit more when you you loose than I loose when you win (it should be about 10 % in whole if you all play 100 % chances all the time).

The reason is easy:
I have registered a domain last year for a forum dedicated to "Warhammer 40000" Maybe you know that game (Dawn of War is a video game around this universe).
Because I would not pay for this site alone and because I couldn't use all the webspace alone, I share this site with my gf (don't worry, I am the only person who can control the ftp access, my gf just writes a blog on that web space controlled through a web interface, and at the moment she doesn't do much, with "her part").
The problem then was: we could only register one domain, so we decided to take the wh40kger.de domain and she uses a subdomain + a link from http://www.alpennic.com/ the same way I did for this project: I created a sub domain on www.wh40kger.de and linked it with a better name on http://www.alpennic.com/
So in the end, just the name was the reason to link ^^
I hope I could answer your question and allay concerns about the security?
If not you need not trust the site. you can also register the normal "out-of-the-game" way :-)

The average chance bought increased by about 5%.
My personal profit at the moment should be:

This difference could be explained by single high valuable wins.

No everything works completly without me except the prices. Normaly you can register and sent ISK without me to be online, the API should get your ISK if you send them from the charakter you registered and used the correct reason.
If you forget the reason I will edit your wallet when I come online and mention it.

Paid out ally prices won last night. was a bit "shocked" as I saw the requested pay outs because there was one very lucky guy again ^^
Is the time you have to wait really so annoying? It is one hour at maximum. If you send the ISK right before an API check applied, you get it earlier than one hour.

Ok here is a way to skip the time between the Api requests:
IF I am online, and only then this way will be faster then the normal way, you can send ISK with the reason "srl now".
I will then edit your Wallet instant at the page :-)

Here are the promised but delayed stats

Average Chance bought:29.6638

Total estimated win: 10,738,159,000.00 ISK
Real win: 5,783,350,000.00 ISK (after I subtracted every price I payed out from the ammount of ISK spent for playing)
This difference is caused by the Machariel. Many games were won and so the estimated win is rising although I had to pay out all the time (I'm not sad about that if this seems to be! I'm happy with the winners :-) )
See: The estimated win is rising all the time, even if you win and I loose.
For example: a 50% chance to win costs 100 M Isk. The ship itself costs 190 M Isk
If person 1 wins the ship I loose 90 M Isk.
If person 2 looses the ship I win 100 M Isk.
In both cases the estimated is risen by 5 M Isk.
Because in the case that these games were played infinite times I would earn 5 M per game in total (as you can see in the example, I won 100 M from person two but had to pay out 90 M to person one so in total 10 M Isk/2 games playe = 5 M Isk in total per game)
If now such a high value ship comes into play the estimated win rises fast. But if everyone wins the machariel, the real win decreases heavily ^^
I think this was my best explanation of what the estimated win is ^^ I will add that two the first page FAQ section.
The 100 bil Isk Celebration
I will draw a winner every day of the coming week (Monday to Friday) (little Prices from Faction Frigates to battlecruisers or some mods). Further instructions will come Sunday.
To come to an end: Friday there will be a great end of the celebration week. I think a Commandship is looking for a new owner then ^^

Cannot log in at the moment, because i cant install the patch! It will always extract to c: and fail because the checksum isnt correct.

BTW: If someone has epic bad luck, e.g. playing 10 games at 20 % an loose everything although 2 wins are expected at this chance bought (and some other games lost/high ammount of ISK lost etc), than he will recieve some ISK for a second try. There is something seriously wrong with this lottery.
Every time I deposit isk, I always seem to come out on top. WTF? This isn't how lotteries are supposed to work. I deposit isk, you run off with it. That is how normal lotteries work. All this winning is making me feel uncomfortable. 
Also, please add Ishkurs to the list of ships you can play for. I could have sworn you used to have them.

Yes thats true, I would never decline that ^^ Thatswhy the estimated income for me should be limited to 10% (I am near about that value, can post some statistics later), not to high I think, and fair. So the base values of the ships should always be about 10% higher than the ship costs at the market :-) As well I try to reinvest a part of the income inot some community projects, such as videos, tools etc.

I have found out a way to deal with the 4 Mrd ISK difference between the estimated and the real win.
To remember the current statistic:
Times played7999

Looser (real/expected)5435 / 5407.61
Average Chance bought:32.3964
As you can see, there is a gap between the estimated wind and the real win (real win means the difference between all isk sent to me for games (i.e. when you buy a chance for a ship the ISK will be added) and the ammont of ISK given to players that won a price. Normaly the real value should be around the estimated value. But now there is a huge gap.
This could be an indication for a bad code but this is not the case. Nethertheless I will not keep the ISK above the estimated win! Thatswhy I thought over some free games or anything the last weeks to give those ISK back to you.
Normaly I support community projects as videos or programs made for the community free (as the videos Skybound and serious business from Julian Lorner). So If you loose, I wont keep all the ISK! I will always give them back to the community as I find a chance to.
(if you play 10 games with a 50% chance to win and loose every single game, than there are 5 games more lost than expected. If this is not compensated (i.e.someone wins 10 games at 50%) after a long time- this is the case at the moment -, I'll start looking for some reinvestments so that there is in the end a win of 10 - 15 % for me, and also then I will keep spending if I find good thing ^^)
If I subtract those ISK given to players (about 600 M Isk) and a little reserve for the lottery from the real win, than it will be still 4 Mrd ISK too much on my wallet.
I will spent those ISK this evening for the PLEX FOR GOOD "Japan" this evening to Julian Koll (in the german forum better known as Anhalter, he runs a Plex for Good Spendensammlung to make it easier for pply to spent, so the only have to transfer ISK to him instead of buying PLEX and contract them. He is a trustful person, sometimes you can find him in the signature channel and in MD ^^

Biggest con ever!!!!!! Was warned it might be but thought I'd test it out.
In case anyone doesn't understand the system, you pick your odds and then the site "supposedly" rolls a random number netween 1 and 100. Your numbers all start from 1 upwards so if you choose a 70% bet you have numbers 1-70 and the house 71-100.
Results
5 x 50% wagers on Nightmare (Fair enough could lose all all five here!)
1 x Nightmare win (Number 2m rather extreme end of the scale but ok so far.......)
4 x Nightmare Lose And here is where it gets interesting. The odds of 4 losses in a row at 50% are low but not unimaginable.... but the odds of each number rolled being in the 90 or above are so far beyond unreal they are ridiculous especially when 92 was rolled back to back.
It's a bait and switch and Alex Stokes........ you sir are no better than a guy playing Find The Queen on top of a carboard box on a street corner.
I can afford the loss but you guys reading this are severely a sucker if you don't heed these words and still go ahead and play.

Oh I see. You should have renamed the post "Positive Comments Only!" if you didn't want people writing the truth of their experiences. So I take the argument to Community of you don't like the comment? Nice! I think that says it all!
Probability is a question of perspective and subjectivity. You COULD argue that losing at 50% odds is infinitely possible but (in the really real world it isn't)
Therefore you have to fall back to conventional probability equations (Don't ask me if it is the right thing to do, just ask the CEO of any major casino in Las Vegas)
Therefore the odds of losing 4 "coinflip" type 50% wagers are 16:1 (not bad and certainly not impossible), but now lets go back to the events that I described above.
The odds of losing 4 wagers where the result is 90/100 or, put another way, 1/10, four times, consecutively are actually astronomically high even using a just a basic multiple event probability calculator.

Either you are answering politically, avoiding the answer on purpose or actually missing the point altogether. The statistics above show wither a flaw or deliberate bad coding (you even admit it in your previous posts on Page 9 than your own losing versus winning ratio is way beyond expected levels. In your favor!). Me, as a player, I don't give two **** if you are giving the overage amounts to Save The Children or the United Nations!! If there is an obvious error in your coding that is causing you to win way more than you are expecting then FIX IT! Don't come up with excuses as to where you send unexpected profits through bad RNG and software. It's like saying "Thanks for the money. You didn't win anything because our coding is crap but don't worry, we gave everything you should have won to somebody else!" WTF??? Seriously.

Ok than just one last serious question: What should I do if the code is correct? Should I manipulate the code, so that you "feel" the code is more random?
I can understand your point if you presume that the code is wrong. From this point of view I can say what I want, you wont believe.
So the only thing left I can do, in case the code isnt wrong, is to explain what happens with the ISK and how I use them when the randomness strikes against the gamers.
There are only those two alternatives.
And I will rather give up this whole project because the ppl might want to know that I am cheating than manipulate the code for a better random feeling while I am saying there is no manipulated code, or in other words: to break my word.
So you see I have not many opportunities :-(

Sometime you loose and sometimes you win.. @Viper:
I did loose some money but in the end I gained some. Today I tried a 10% chance on a Vargur pretty sure that the money is gone anyway (as have all the other 10 % chances I tried) and hooray, got it!
If you play 50/50 it's like flipping a coin. Heads or Tails it is and I very much doubt that Chribba's dice are somehow at fault.
All in all a very entertaining lottery with immediate results and so far I got everything just the way I wanted it be it the item itself or the money for the item into my wallet.

So I deposited 1 billion ISK, and started playing vindicator dice, I loose a few times and I'm almost ready to start playing some cheaper ships when I win one... WOW I won all my ISK back... So I think might aswell try again.... ANOTHER vindicator!... now I'm really going nuts, 1 billion profit w00t!
Guess what I won when I rolled another 30% chance? 
3 vindicators in one night, enough to earn back the losses I made at somer blink :D

This site is so well made, and the lotteries really are INSTANT!
Any other lottery leaves you waiting untill all tickets are sold, here you choose how many tickets you want to buy and the website buys the rest of them!
Sadly, I've lost 5 billion ISK to it, glad I wasnt in a casino IRL tonight... Alex even gave me 500 million ISK because the chances of me loosing this often were 3 out of 100...
I suppose if you are the lucky 97% you could win quite alot here!
Oh well... someone's gotta fill up the last 3%
Still, this is more fun than getting blown up ingame, so it's a great way to loose money! (for me)

Been having a blast with this lottery. Love that it's instant and legit. The ability to create your own lottery based on each ship is awesome. Very nice. I deposited 50m, got the 5m bonus. Lost a 60% roll on a manticore, but then won two in a row. I redeposited the winnings and started up a Hulk roll which I won at 20% chance. I asked for the isk and it was sent within a few hours. All in all, I walked away with almost 4x what I put in.
Great little site to kill some time and to win/lose some isk.
