So here's a story:
After playing the game for almost a year, my parents found out my main character is a woman. While I cannot remember the exact reason why I picked a woman, they asked for ways I could make her a him, otherwise they think I have fantasies of her.
One of the things on the table to do with my account if I couldn't get her gender changed is removal of a 10 month old character and over 12 million skillpoints.
Now, having gone through the support staff, a GM recommended I request a feature on the forums.
A GM granted one-time use, full re-customization of your character. Bloodline and other specific traits cannot be edited for skill reasons, but gender would be apart of the re-customization. It would have to be used on a case-by-case basis, as we don't want everyone to suddenly swap genders, now do we? It would require good reasoning behind the sex-change query to qualify. A GM would have to state that the character can no longer revert sexes once the change is complete.
If they do not qualify, perhaps the currently available re-customization could be given as a sort of compensation.
While I make no attempt to understand what kind of coding is behind the character creator that would make/break this sort of idea, I thought it worth it to post about it, since I may not be able to play here soon. |

Meh, I see a lot of guys roll female characters just because of the perception that female characters get treated nicer.
In some games, I know there is some truth to it. Not so sure about EVE, but anything is possible.

Fine. As long as there is a ten minute timer for being docked in a station. Also, you can't stop moving in the game. Just add in a way so every ten minutes you are randomly warped to the nearest other player. Keeps people from going AFK. |

Um...what? They are going to make you delete your character if you don't change it to a man?
I think the only fix for this is that you need new parents. |
