I don't know if enough people want this. But it would be a great great help if we could get an automatic and manual away option. After like 5 minutes of inactivity it should go to away , or you could can just pick away. PLEASE im getting so irritated with the absence of responses in corp chat. Sign it if you want it.
edit: in response to post right below this one. No one in my corp just logs off...for some reason being logged in givse them their fix even when they are away. Having this option would just ease alot of peoples worries and frustrations

If u go afk for a long time then log out - np then....
Most people these days do say when they go afk, it's the majority that don't actually read the message that miss this

This has been asked for loads of times but nothing ever seems to get done. How hard can it be to program another button into the chat window???

I think you can assume that if nobody is talking that they are either away or just don't want to talk to you.

This feature is not needed, if someone isnt responding to your convo than he might be afk and if he is in space and afk and get killed than its his/her own fault.

maybe have the letters AFK showin ove your portrait or something

obviously there should be no afk for local chat etc.
an afk status for corp chat would be nice ... if such a feature came in it should be settable per-channel ... maybe with a set global afk option available
